It kind of makes sense Nina dumped him and he wants his family back. What better way is to ruin her case by testifying against her in court. But although he had his chance to screw her over the last time they were in court.

There's no indication Sonny is playing Nina. Nina didn't dump Sonny. They talked about taking a break. But from the looks of it, that break didn't last long. And now Sonny has agreed to testify on Nina's behalf.

Nice idea, but I doubt that's where they are going. Have Michael and Sonny had any private conversations onscreen lately, just the two of them? If so, then they wouldn't be pretending to hate each other there.

If only lol. Sonny is too far up his own butt to see things clearly. He's so eager to claim Michael is disrespectful, but he's consistently put Nina over his own family. I doubt this is going to be another "Nelle Courtroom Meltdown" (like when Nina testified for Nelle's character and revealed she was a manipulative liar guaranteeing she lost Wiley). Instead we'll be subject to Sonny praising Nina in court and trying to make Michael out to be vindictive.

Nawww i doubt it. Sonny really does like Nina. If sonny wanted revenge he would have been gotten it by now. He isnt the wait it out type of guy.

He isn't playing Nina. Sonny isn't really a schemer who will plan things out. When it comes to revenge he likes instant gratification and will let his enemies know he is coming after them.

Definitely not playing Nina. But it still seems very strange Sonny has never totally understood the damage Nina caused the whole family, and continues to cause. He walked into his and Carly’s bedroom to find Jason and Carly in tight embrace, BUT it never went any further. His dismissal of the hurt his kids dealt with - Michael, Avery and Joss to a degree, to say nothing of the anguish and later the weight of the business on Carly’s shoulders. Lots of close friends were affected too. But just a flip of hand and he’s back. There is something missing there.
