CLOUDFARE Security Message
Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.
This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.
Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.
The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

Gosh I hope not ...I have enjoyed not having Austin on the last few days ...Austin gives me the creeps ..

No.
Franco got too many scenes with Liz' sons that should have been Liz' Liz has raised those boys on her own for years and then TPTB had Franco take over, 'because he is good with kids." BS
Leo has Olivia, Dante, Ned, Sam, Drew, Monica, Willow, and Michael. He doesn't need Austin.
I noticed that RoHo isn't even in the picture for the 15,000-episode celebration that GH posted. Personally, I'm hoping his contract is up

I dont recall that it was ever stated that Austin has special needs. He stated he had a brother who had autism.
My post clearly stated that Leo has many characters including a loving family to support him. Nowhere did I state or imply that I don't want characters with special needs on GH. I don't understand your comment about "Sorry you feel that way"

Nothing against Roger Howarth, but I find Austin to be incredibly creepy and un-self-aware.
I think he looks way too old for Maxie, and I was repelled by the scene where he badgered her in a passive-aggressive sort of way for not being able to go out with him two nights in a row. A woman with three kids says she has to deal with her children's needs, and he starts in on how she's not ready to have a relationship? Add that to his whining about how the Quartermaines are mean and just interested in money -- when he showed up on their doorstep and introduced himself by announcing he was suing them. Just ugh.
As for Austin bonding with Leo, no. Michael invited him to Wiley's birthday party, and he used to occasion to recruit Chase to snoop through private papers and steal one. Olivia later apologized to him for not believing him about Leo's autism and invited him to a family gathering, and he said no.
For all his talk, Austin doesn't seem to be at all interested in getting to know the Quartermaine family. And if he's so invested in Jimmy Lee's legacy, how come he never talks to any of the many, many people who knew Jimmy Lee -- many of whom work with him at GH -- about dear old dad?

Since Leo is needing to regularly see specially trained professionals ... to help him deal with autism .... GH should have given Austin this ability. Instead of this skill belonging to someone we don't see. I hope things change so Austin can be more involved.
Especially since Austin is a lead character on a show called General Hospital.

Austin is a LEAD character???
He's one of the newest one's we have - and is barely seen anymore.

He was supposed to be a lead character and (as per usual), the writers don't treat him like one. He just doesn't seem to be on the show anymore.
In the other hand, it could have something to do with how they shoot scenes now (vs. 20 yrs ago.)
Some actors (either lead or not) shoot all their scenes for the next two weeks in anywhere between one to three days a waleek. Then, the editors can spread it around more in different shows. Years ago, everyone mostly shot their scenes on a show by shoe basis but not anymore.
This might explain why the show seems so disjointed at times and stories drag on and on. I.E. contractual obligations and sorsding around equal airtime to actors means longer stories.
