CLOUDFARE Security Message
Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.
This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.
Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.
The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

I agree. Signing the contract in the first place without even looking at it was an idiotic decision by her and was only written because Amanda Setton can't sing and they needed a reason for the character not being able to sing. Then that set up all the events that led to Brook Lynn getting her throat slashed and losing her singing voice, also to accommodate AS.
That said, hopefully Brook Lynn has a smarter and better plan to deal with Linc now. I have a theory that Linc will try to sexually assault her at some point, and that's when Chase will get involved and cement their bond even further.

Wait a minute - I thought her contract was bought out - by Valentin ( see Martin Gray)
She needs an attorney as to the contract and song rights.

How did Link just happen to pop up at the Metro Court garden for a private party for a child where Chase just happened to be singing Brook Lynn's song?

Completely contrived as is this entire let’s put Chase and Brook Lynn together farce that the writers are giving us.
Chase and Brook Lynn have had some good writing but most of it for them have either been forced or childish.
I blame the writing mostly!

And a song that in the moment Leo asked Chase to sing. Yeah, right.... If Link had been lurking around for awhile to catch BLQ in something, he would've been bored months ago, finding nothing, and left.Last edited by Ribbonette; May 19, 2022, 06:45 AM.

I don't think she will since he sexually harassed her. Even in that short conversation was showing he hadn't changed. She can write new songs that he wouldn't have access to and move forward. Both Ned and Lois know the music world and could help her connect with the right people to sell her songs.

Really it is a crying shame she lost rights to some songs but Keep writing. It has happened to others. Even if Slime gets the money for the "Leo Song". She will still get attention as the writer if he does something with it. So people might want more from her
BUt isn't it silly that NOW after these years he wants it.

I was so confused because I thought that BLQ gave up her ELQ shares to get out of the contract. Suddenly it's valid again?

I THINK what they are saying NOW is that sure she is out of the contract and if she could sing she would be fine and all her new stuff belongs to her. BUT he said what she wrote while under contract is his. But certainly that one song would not ever be worth working with him. If he can get someone to cover it and make a little money for her and more for him it would still be exposure of her music
(how would he prove when she wrote it unless he has a copy from then)

Yeah like everyone else I don't understand how this guy is suddenly showing up out of nowhere claiming to have the rights to Brooklynn's songs. Like everyone else I thought part of Brook's deal with Valentin was buying out her contract with Link or whatever his name is. If the contract with him is still somehow valid, then that should nullify her agreement with Valentin. Not to mention why would Link need her to re-sign with Brook if he already has all the rights to her songs to do with them whatever he wishes? None of this is making any sense.
