Not saying that I want the writers to pair them(which likely will never happen anyway). But I saw far more chemistry between TJ and Willow than I ever saw between her and Michael. Eventhough TJ was just coming to Willow’s help after she collapsed. It was far more interesting to me than Michael and Willow ever will be.

I was thinking this too, but also doubt that they’d pair them. Plus, TJ needs more friends in general. -

I agree that brief interaction between Willow and TJ had more spark than any of her scenes with Michael. I'm not invested in TJ and Molly so I'd be fine with something happening between them.Comment

Maybe that's why Tajh Bellow-TJ is now on contract? It could be they are going to pair him with Willow eventually? Katelyn McMullan- is on contract and Hailey Pullos-Molly isn't! It can be challenging having a couple/pairing when one character is on contract and the other isn't? For example: Finola/JPS-Anna/Valentin, Genie/John- Laura/Kevin, William/Eden-Cameron/Josslyn- one actor in each pairing is on contract and the other isn't! The actor on contract is shown onscreen but w/o their scene partners and fans miss the missing actors and pairings being played out onscreen....

I like TJ and Molly but am fine with a friendship, and it reaffirms to me how Willow can come alive when with the right person. She's just in the worst pairing possible now.Comment

But where I live we were cut away for the supreme court nomination stuff so we only got to see TJ respond to Willow.
I saw a look in his eye as Epiphany was taking her to the ED to get checked out (they would have never let her walk there in real life).
IMO Molly and TJ are super boring and I can't help but feel like ultimately Molly and TJ want different things out of life and so Molly will never truly make him happy. Unfortunately he may be unaware of how mousy Willow is though I think he may be looking for someone more her speed.Comment

Well I think Molly/TJ are a great match due to them both being extremely driven and ambitious. But if TJ wasn't involved with Molly I could see him with Willow. Just like I could see him with Kiki when they were both studying to be doctors. As for Willow she needs a new love interest for sure. Michael and Willow aren't working for me at all. I think TJ is a family first guy. We certainly get more scenes with TJ and his family than we ever get of Molly and hers, despite Molly theoretically having more family members in town.
Molly OTOH, I agree is driven and ambitious, but ambitious to the point where I don't think she would want to slow down to have a family even if TJ is willing to be an equal partner in child rearing. Though TJ is seemingly doing a transitional year internship since we don't know whether he wants to do internal medicine (Finn is an ID physician) or emergency medicine (could have sworn Austin was introduced as family medicine physician) or eventually will decide to be a neurocardiogenicalgeneral surgeon next year (whatever the scene requires) he has plenty of options to choose a career that produces the best work-life balance.
In short I always view TJ as someone who would not feel fulfilled without a family while I always view Molly as someone who would not feel fulfilled until she is chief justice of the supreme court -
I agree that Molly is extremely ambitious. But I disagree on that being an issue with their relationship. I feel as though TJ is very understanding of Molly and wants her to pursue every dream she has. Molly has stated multiple times she wants children. I believe when the time is right both her and TJ will have children. I feel like they balance each other out very well. TJ started off as a rebellious teen who couldn't read. With Molly's help/tutoring he's now a doctor. TJ helped Molly come out of her shell and helped her make friends. Their relationship blossomed into a romance that has lasted 10 years despite obstacles that came their way. I believe their strong love for each other will help them overcome anything.
