  • Ryan and Esme's Vibe Was a Little Flirtatious

I was hoping for the reveal and was gratified to see that the writers did what I thought they would do. But did anyone else think that Ryan and Esme had some twisted chemistry? Especially when she said "Daddy, you like it when I call you Daddy".....all flirtatious and shades of something?

Twisted is the exact right word for their vibe.

But I don’t think she is really his bio-daughter. I feel like there is way more to this twisted twosome.

I’m trying to figure out the timeline. If she’s 19 or 20, and he’s been incarcerated for a few years, then she was a minor when this whole thing started. That’s why I think that they have to make her his bio daughter. Otherwise he was in some creepy relationship with a minor.

not just the "you like it when I call you that" but the way she fingered his hands when saying it. It was very weird

I knew from Day One they were father and daughter!
(Minus a possible future DNA test).

I don't think Ryan is Esme's biological father. Maybe just a sugar daddy.

Totally love Esme. She's twisted, evil, nasty, vindictive. All the traits that make her character stand out. As for her age, she's probably 19 or 20. If that's the case, why is she dating a 16-year-old? This goof - Spencer has to be the same age as Esme - is hilarious. It's only a matter of time before Bailey-Louise is 5 or six and Sonny's girls appear all grown up.

Spencer isn't 16. When he first showed up as the new actor it was mentioned that he had graduated high school. In court no one said he was being tried as an adult because he already was one.

You are right. I forgot about that. Then, they need to change the dates on Courtney's tombstone.

Twisted ... good word. I suspected Esme was Ryans
daughter, but the flirtatious vibe got me thinking she's
not .... just Ryans accolade. What do we know about
Esme other than what she/Spencer told us. Who's to
say she's as young as she appears ... there are many
people who can pass for much younger. We know she
was put in Spencer's path just to get close to his
family to break up Ava/Nick .... the set may of included
someone who could pass for a teen.

If she is older when did she start dating Spence ? Was she having sex with a minor?

I thought it was a sexual thing too but then I realized that Ryan has been incarnated or in PC for most of Esme's life.

Ryan was sexually abused by his mother so, unfortunately, sexual undertones in his relationship with his daughter is pretty realistic. I’m assuming for now that he is her biological father. Or at least she believes he is. He plays on what people want most and Esme wants to be loved . He is the king of manipulation .

The Ryan and Esme scenes were creepy. They had a cult vibe -- like Shiloh and his followers in the Dawn of Day. I am also not sure that she is his bio-daughter. There was nothing normal about the relationship -- she was acting like she was worshipping him and trying to please him. There are people -- women in particular -- who write to psycopaths in prison and visit them, and Esme does seem obsessed with Ryan's psychotic mind from the very beginning.

Can't wait to see where this story is going but I'm really sad that Trina, Joss and Cam have been dragged into Esme's web.
