  • The Sasha and Brando stuff is tough to watch

She's numbing her pain by flying high and he's too blinded by grief to notice. I never thought Gladys would be the one I root for the most in their relationship but she's the only one thinking clearly at this point. I hope she's able to convince them both to get some help.

I absolutely hate that they are writing her back using drugs again --
I want to see Sasha (and Brando) get help and get on the road to peaceful recovery ♥♥

Can't we ever have an uplifting story-line?

I believe it's lazy writing. Instead of coming up with something new they are repeating Sasha's drug addiction storyline.
And I also agree with many posters that Gladys is right about her assessment of the whole situation! I actually like Gladys now. She is acting just like a caring mother would.

At first I didnt even know who she was today/

I love Brando/Sasha but Gladys is right. They need help, IDK why they killed their son!

Gladys is right in that they are getting married for the wrong reasons. But she's wrong in trying to interfere. If it's a mistake, it's their mistake to make.

Also, what is it with folks getting one tiny bit of info and then leaping to huge conclusions? Gladys knows that they are in Niagara Falls, she knows that they don't want to talk to her, but that allowed her to conclude that they are eloping?

I agree with your first paragraph, CarnyQueen. But even though Gladys should stay out of it because even if she's right Brando will not appreciate her being so, I can see why she feels the need to interfere. At least this story is more character-driven then some.

It's an unfortunate story. Gladys is 100% correct. I don't blame her for trying to stop them from making a mistake. Hopefully, she will be able to convince them to get counseling and that will encourage Sasha to get help for her relapse.

Losing a baby is a huge thing. For Sasha, with no family and what was not a long standing relationship, it is entirely realistic for her to return to old, self-destructive patterns.

Men often miss emotional cues because in their own grief, they often struggle and try to hide it or bury it in work.

This from personal experience and from knowing a lot of people who have had infant or pregnancy loss.

It's a pretty good guess since that's a wedding destination.

This is so stupid because Sasha isn't acting correctly for being on whatever drugs they claim she is taking. She looks great, doesn't slur, isn't really sleepy, isn't really hyper. She didn't even really have a mood swing in the car. She's probably taking prenatal vitamins.

I've also never heard of a drug that makes you sound so corny. I wish they wouldn't write such stupid stuff for her. "Body and soul". Good grief, she's a cornball.

It would be fun for me the show went hard core, and, they both crash and burn, family has to keep going looking for them. Brando loses the garage, Sasha doesn't look fit to be in front of a camera, haggard, bad hair, as spokesperson/ representative for the company, if the show insists on going down the addiction trail.

I have wondered what the drug is that she is eating like candy. She should have over dosed by now. And I don't see much of a difference in her behavior. She just acts happy.

I did a brief search and could only come up with an antibiotic or a performance enhancing drug in a black and red capsule. LOL Maybe Sasha has an infection we didn't know about. She isn't acting high, that's for sure.

Oh I’m just finding them incredibly dull and for me that’s mostly Brando, who isn’t the least compelling and remains so. I did like Sasha previously with Michael in the old quad.

I also agree having Sasha starting taking drugs again it’s just ugg. Couldn’t they come up with something else? Preferably without Brando I’m sorry to keep saying that, I wish the actor well, but he’s just a character that doesn’t click - in my opinion of course.

I so agree with you. Brando is just beyond dull and I don't want Sasha saddled with him forever. I wasn't happy they killed off the baby, but that was the chance for them to grow apart so she wouldn't be stuck with that dud.

Together they are just cringeworthy and very hard to watch. This couple has no pizzazz. jmo

                  Exactly.
I find that everything that happens is not a surprise, even very realistic.

The Sasha/Brando story has its moments. I'm sure the story will move in a new direction shortly and get away from some of those contrived moments the writer's give both actors to play.

I feel like Sasha and Brando are on their own storyline island almost. This storyline would be a lot more compelling if more was at stake regarding the impact on their friends and family. It seems like Gladys is the only one involved and that’s because she’s a super nosey busy-body.

Is Sophia Mattson pregnant again in real life? They seem to have 'Sasha' hiding her belly again a lot in todays episode! Oh and I love Sasha and Brando together I just hate that they have her self medicating again!
