It seems like her only purpose of existence is just to be Josslyn's rival/enemy. She's seriously obsessed with Josslyn. It's beyond pathetic at this point. This chick seriously needs to get a life.

Esme has a life and a purpose - her target is Spencer and hold onto him.
Joss and Trina are in the way temporarily as far as she is concerned, hence her plans of embarresment for them.
Emse today showed that it is all about her, as far as her treament of Spencer, in a mood over his deceased mother. She was more concerned about Spencer talking over his problems with someone other than her, and that she was not able to lay flowers at his mother's grave. The acting was good as the "frost" when Victor walked in was palable throught the screen.
Esme is a conundrum to us because her actions are reprehensible to us - arson? Why didn't Spencer kick her to the curb, and why wasn't she charged as an accessory (seriously). Why is Laura even allowing her to stay with her know this? The drinking game caused the teens to look at her with new eyes, and she is aware. But a porn video? It, like arson, is a federal crime going over the phones, and that does not bother Esme? No conscious, is she that good at her skill set that she thinks she will not get caught?
We know literally nothing about her except she presents as a girlfirend with sociopathic tendencies, and as Laura said, has no respect for those around her, even when she is a guest.Comment

l do wish she could be Nina's kid. ls there any way that could happen? Maybe Nina had triplets, Nell, Willow and Esme. She does look a lot older than she says she is. l'm kind of joking here, but kind of not, too. She is so much like Nell!Comment

I am past ready for her to be put away for some reason. Spencer gets time at Spring ridge for crimes that she took part in but she gets off scott free. Now uploading revenge porn! She has underestimated Joss big time this time. She's no dummy and knows who was fully capable of setting up something like that. Cam is not the type to film his first time with a girl, and Joss is certainly no shy violet who will cry and run from the room. She's smart enough to know how capable Trina was of doing something like that. It's a dumb, juvenile prank and I hope it backfires big time on Esme.Comment

Esme's entire life revolves around Spencer and keeping him under her thumb and attacking anyone she sees as a rival to her hold on Spencer -- Trina and Joss.
She has a hobby, which is serial killer Ryan, and she mooches off other people instead of paying her own bills.
I don't get why Spencer is letting himself be so whipped by her. She kissed him -- completely inappropriately -- and he could have gotten in trouble. But he's allowed to snap for one minute, and then he's groveling for her forgiveness.
And don't tell me that Esme doesn't know that prison employees/interns are not supposed to be smooching inmates.
In fact, Esme kissing Spencer could get HER charged with sexual assault. Prison employees can't have consensual relationships with inmates because the inmate has no ability to refuse consent.Comment

The worst thing about this is Esme will get away with it.
it’s obvious the plan is to blame Trina for uploading the video. When the video was uploaded Trina’s alibi is Spencer. Well Spencer is on a secret temporary jail break he can’t back her and Trinas to loyal to rat Spencer out. So even when everybody figures out it was Esme nobody will do anything legally for Spencer’s sake.

FLPeaches I remember the episode in one of the later seasons where they were glad to see each other after a long time apart and running to hug and jokingly one of them said, “Wanna fight?” …glad they became friends. Esme? I don’t think she’s got a prayer of hope.

Esme is the new bad girl on "GH." Her schemes give the teen story arcs lots of fire. This one is absolutely perfect. And yes, she will get away with it. In the meantime, still waiting for the big reveal. Who really is her mother and father? Who is Esme? Love her. Bring it on.Comment

She's a little sociopath just like Nelle was - and yet ANOTHER perverted sexual predator. Getting off on hurting innocents with ZERO remorse or regret for the damage that she causes or who's lives she destroys.
IMO - she adds nothing but another headache - and someone else to FF through.
But - JMHO -
I enjoyed the DYNAMIC villains of old school GH - that were written with TRUE character, depth, and nuance. Like Helena, Faison, Jerry Jax - even Faith and Ric.
Characters like Peter, Nelle, and Esme - are just straight up psychotic sociopaths - with very little to like about them - and very little humanity. They get off on the power and control of gleefully hurting others with ZERO remorse or regret. And that's really ALL there is to them.
And I'm getting really tired of these sexual predator storylines that aren't told with ANY respect or dignity to the subject matter.
It's a sick trend that needs to STOP.

If her goal is to blame this on Trina....Trina's about to find out who her real friends are and who believes in her. I hope this all backfires on Esme. I don't have a problem with villains, every soap has them, however we've seen this girl commit crimes with no fallout. What she just did opens Cam and Joss up to all sorts of creep-sters out there.....this can literally follow them for life. And if Spencer still stays with her after finding out what she did to HIS Friends, he can go kick rocks. I'm not even a Joss fan, but this was reprehensible.Comment
