It would be an interesting and welcomed story if Terry and Chet actually date. I would love to see both of these characters on the screen more often. Hopefully GH won't set up this storyline up for disaster by keeping it a secret for months and months that Terry is transgender.

I sincerely hope nothing bad happens to Terry on this date. I'm so afraid that's where they're going. It's relevant. It's drama. But my heart will break for her, and it will be so hard to watch if they go there.Comment

I am worried about that. It is a real concern but I hope it doesn't play out that way.
I also think Chet in a teal shirt is not her date. Do most guys even know what color teal is? It is sexist but Chet doesn't strike me as a guy who would know what color teal is. In my imagination he would describe it as bluish green. ? -
bubsmom Someone else said that to me yesterday, that Chet is not her date, and he's waiting for someone else. I hope he is her date because I don't think he'd be cruel to her. And, yeah, he'd probably say bluish green! ?

It would be nice if it was Chet...since we don't see enough of him...or Terri for that matter...but I have feeling it's just a coincidence that Chet is wearing the same color shirt...and I fear Terri's actual date is more than likely a serial killer

I too am afraid Terri's date is not Chet and that something bad will end up happening to her. It was the way she told Elizabeth that she told the date EVERYTHING that made me immediately frightened for her. I really hope not. I like her character and her friendship with Liz. I always thought Terri had good chemistry with BM's Drew and that it would have been interesting to test them.
And by the way, I really like Amy and Chet and wish they were on more. I kind of wanted them to pair Maxie with Chet.Comment

I, too, am thinking that the "teal" shirt is a red herring. And yes, felt that Terri's gushing that they had discussed EVERYTHING means that the date will be unpleasant at best, dangerous at worst.
I'm hoping that Chet plays hero to Terri when her real date turns out to be a First Class Jerk. Since I'm really hoping for a Chet/Maxie pairing and a Britt/Austin pairing would prefer she and Chet become friends, not lovers. Open to Terri's dating/pairing life becoming part of her Chief of Staff juggling a personal life storyline - wish I could think of an offscreen character that could return to be that part of that pairing.Comment

I was like "is this one of Amy's plots?". Remembering a similar story line when she was a lovelorn columnist. I can see her posing as Chet and talking to Terri or anyone else and telling them "all about him" and listening to her do the same. But the idea of Spinelli never occurred to me. I could just see more and more men with Teal shirts popping up at one time at the bar! Yep, this is disaster waiting to happen. Just sorry it has to happen to such nice people. I feel like it's being set up to be a comic relief of some kind that's going to backfire bigtime.Comment

Terri was an awful date based on what we saw its almost as if they were talking for the first time and im questionning how open she was that he would agree to à date with her
Because they had NOTHING in commun so it stands to reason that both prétended to be something they werent for their virtual exchange to have progress to an actual meeting.
He basically told her that he was not drawn to having physical possession and she automatically went to the offense by calling him out for his lacs of ambition. A simple we might be looking for différent things would gave sufficed but she had to make the entire date hostile. I hâte that yhe show is obviously trying to make us side with Terri when she has been rude and judgmental from what we saw. -
I thought Tanner was the one being unpleasant and judgmental to begin with and Terri defended herself. His comments about physical possessions, etc. were certainly arrogant, condescending, and a putdown to hardworking people making valuable contributions to society. I don't have any reason to assume she lied to him or to Liz in saying he knew about her, so I'll reserve judgment until we see. I do agree they probably didn't have lengthy conversations and decided to just wing it.

Might have worked better for me of she hadnt got a pass aftrr being à very unpleasant date to Tanner we barely got to see the date itself but what we got was Terri calling him out within 5 seconds, being rude and hostile for the remaining of the date and jumping to conclusion on what Tanner meant when he calmly tried to explain himself. She called him anti science for showing interest in alternative medicine. It was really painful and of thats what Terri is about i d rather not see that character anymore
