CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

  • Today would have been Stuart Damon’s 85th birthday!

I still think he needs a tribute episode.

I agree! He deserves a tribute!

What happened to his tribute. I loved Alan and I loved when he would pop in as a ghost now and then. He is missed. Sad his health wasn't good in later years.

They had the PERFECT opportunity to do it with Jane still there. But instead they gave the tribute to Luke - who likely isn't even dead.

        Stuart deserved so much better.

Killing off Alan Q was one of the biggest mistakes the people running the show ever made; there were other mistakes before and after that, but Alan's death felt different somehow: kind of a signal that the network/producer/TPTB didn't care about the show's history and, even worse, the show's long-time fans, at all. GH has never been the same

Agree with you all utterly. Belated though it is, in the words of Marie Osmond, Happy Heavenly birthday to dear Stuart. Much missed by us all and the Best Cowardly Lion ever!

I couldn't agree more, and I sincerely hope that they have a full episode tribute. Valentine's Day would definitely work with Monica reminiscing about her lives and loves, focusing on Alan the most.

Yes a tribute episode without Sonny and Carly who made Alan Q'a life miserable once they got invovled with Jason and A.J.

It's a disgrace and an insult to all long time fans that SD hasn't been honored with a special episode. Inexcusable.

Totally agree with you! What is the problem? Why can't we get a whole show tribute about Alan Q?? Other characters have gotten one. This treatment of selected tribute shows is insulting, hurtful and disturbing. The man spent years entertaining us as Alan and he deserves acknowledgement for his work in a stand-alone episode. Bad PTB, just bad.
