CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

Reasons Why Couples Get Married Onscreen and Off

I was thinking of this because of the upcoming mob wedding. There is actually a whole laundry list of reasons why people get married. Traditionally men and women married for love. In Jason and Carly's case, it's a business arrangement. Immigrants have been known to get married to stay in the country (marriage of convenience). Before the 1990s, couples often got married when the woman was pregnant or they already had a child. Some religious people get married because their church frowns on premarital sex. In jurisdictions that don't recognize the rights of common law couples, people often get married for legal or tax purposes. In some countries, marriages are arranged and the bride and groom have no say in the matter if they value their lives. Some people reach a certain age and marry the first person who comes along because they feel their biological clock ticking. Other people get married because of strong parental pressure to settle down. A lot of folks get married to solidify their relationship. If a woman has a lot of potential suitors, then the man will push for a commitment because of all the competition. A long-distance relationship as in the case of military couples has a tendency to bring about quick engagements and weddings. Marriage is viewed as a form of insurance for when your partner isn't around for extended periods. Some people get married for security in the case of death. If you don't marry your partner, then you might not be entitled to benefits or a proper share of his/her estate when he/she dies, depending on where you live. There are other people who get married for health insurance or some guarantee of child support in the event of a divorce. Then there are some folks who get married because they've been together a long time and they thought it was the right thing to do, even if they don't technically love each other.
