NuSpencer reminds me of Johnny Zacchara

I've been watching his scenes with Trina and the way he moves, his body language reminds me of Johnny when he first came on. I thought Brandon Barash was a little stiff at first too but the more Johnny's story progressed and his interactions with Lulu, Anthony, Claudia and Trevor, made him even better. But I liked Johnny from get go and I like recast Spencer.

I wish we still had Johnny Z than any of these other crime families through the last few years. He was the best. He really knew how to stick it to Sonny.

AMEN!!! I watch Days for Brandon Barash but not an episode goes by that I don't miss Johnny Z and wish he'd find his way back to GH. Johnny would make this mob s/l 1000% more interesting including making Carly and Jason's MOC interesting due to all that heat that LW and BB used to generate. Would he align w/ Jason and become Jason's "enforcer"? Johnny and Jason always got along for the most part but Johnny doesn't always make the best choices so would he see a chance to take his shot at taking over the Corinthos organization.

EXCELLENT re-cast! The original "Spencer" (even tho he's aged in real life) would not look as old or mature as this new actor... he'd still remind me of and look like a love-sick 12 year old compared to this new actor and with the other 3 teens... JMHO btw-- LOVED Johnny Z -- he was GREAT

I think the new Spencer is solid to start. Younger actors need to be given some grace to grow into the role and make it their own. Even seasoned actors like CW needed a little bit to make the character they were stepping into their own.

I agree. It's unfair to rate a new actor during the first few days they are on. Sometimes they need a little bit of time to get comfortable with the character.

I agree (for ALL newbies not just Spencer) but for some reason this new Spencer hit a home run for me the minute he appeared! I liked him immediately!

Johnny z was my favorite character for a long time
When I met Brandon Barash at one of those meet N greets I asked him if he likes being in the mob and his answer was "on the Show! "
Johnny did not act spoiled & entitled. He was mostly kept hidden away
Spencer is worldly and has a father & grandmother who are not psycho. But they were both lonely, motherless, labelled because of their last name,

Johnny was a great character, one of the best in GH, I would never understand why to have made him leave, oh yes for Sonny and his son Dante. BB was excellent in the role.

For Spencer I already appreciate the character and the actor is doing very well, he starts in the role, you have to give him time.

I truly hope he ends up being that type of a character. This show desperately needs that bad boy energy, and an edge in general. But, I don’t know, I’m not holding my breath on them being able to go that exact direction with this character. I hope I’m proven wrong.

I couldn't stand Johnny. I found him to be incredibly obnoxious and annoying. I won't forget the horrible things he did to good people on this show just because of Sonny. I don't like him either. Both characters are trash.
