They should’ve let that play out a little longer. But that’s been a problem with various Writing teams at GH they don’t let things germinate. I mean Ava and Jason didn’t have to be anything long term but they could’ve capitalized on their chemistry and the fact they’re kind of opposite in many ways although they’re both bad guys and both have killed people (Jasons ledger undoubtedly is much longer being a hitman).

Jason has never killed for personal reasons, only to protect someone or business. He loves Sam, she just needs to be patient. He didn't kill Shilo for Kristina sake. You can't solve every problem by killing them. Jason can't kill Wiley's mom. Think how Michael would have felt if one of the Q's killed Carley. Carely got redeemed after all the crap she did. Her and Nell aren't that different.

I say Jason & Sam must be together and be married again, even they won't be apart forever and have him not to have Elizabeth back in his love life (for the first time in 12 years), and not Brando to be Sam's newest girlfriend.

Jason and Sam must be lovers again for real later this summer, this fall, later this year, or in 2021 & into the future.

Will it be real love to bring Jason & Sam again for real romance, and not to have Jason get a new girlfriend in Ava or a new GH female resident, and not to have Sam to have a new boyfriend in Brando, Cyrus, Harrison, or a new GH male resident?

Sam doesn't want Cyrus nor Brando to be her newest boyfriend, and Jason doesn't want Ava or a new PC female resident to be his newest girlfriend for romance and not business.

And it could be very romantically best for later this summer, this fall, later this year and into the future for Jason, have Sam back into his love life for good, to have renewal romances, married again, and happier together, when Sam gets out of Pentonville for good.

Um, why wouldn't Jason be limited in romance choices to a hit woman? There are tons of characters on the show who are murderers and repeatedly do things or attract enemies that endanger their families. They get romances. Heck, even domestic abusers (like Julian, shown on screen terrorizing his wife with a knife and fantasizing about killing her in the bathtub) get romances. A former serial killer is shown as being happily married to the mother of a baby he kidnapped. I don't think it would be hard to find a love interest for Jason if the writers decided to really split up Jasam for a while.

I suspect the writers intend to cause more angst for Jason and Sam and then eventually reunite them, but I think both characters would benefit from a shakeup and being paired with someone else. (Actually, I think Sam could use a little time on her own, resetting the character, and I don't want to see her with Brando because he just slept with her sister, but that's my only objection.)

My favorite romance for Jason was Robin, when they were both young. But my favorite long-term relationship for Jason is Spinelli. I just think Spinelli has been a less-selfish friend to him than either Carly or Sonny. And they're funny together, or at least they were back in the day....

As someone who has watched Jason since he was Jason Q, he is, hands down, the WORST romantic lead on any show except maybe Liam on B&B. And it's because the woman he's with is NEVER his priority and is always the one who has to make all the compromises and sacrifices. I know Jasam fans hate to harken back to the dark days of the SOS but let's call a thing a thing: Sam had *several* scenes where she took the pink ribbon off her eyes and called out Jason's lack of commitment to her and their relationship. The ones that stand out the most are the breakup scenes and the scene where she's talking about his Box of Pain and mentions how there are pictures of everyone significant in his life in it...but her. And before you say "He changed when they got back together!" I remind you of the time he was willing to abandon her and their child for YEARS to keep Micheal safe in prison.

He's the one character I never want any of my faves paired with and it's because he's the worst husband/boyfriend ever. I don't see the point of trying to make him a family man when his family has never and will never come first.

What you mentioned with Jason leaving Sam to go to prison for Michael. I feel he's done that sort of thing several times. Making these huge decisions without even thinking of Sam. During sos he proposed to liz without a thought to Sam and then not long after he was reunited with port Charles he planned to flee the country with carly again without even thinking about Sam or his kids. He's a horrible relationship person
