Is if another hit woman showed up and started working for Sonny. I love Jason but he is just like a super hero in the sense that I remember in stories Superman and Spider-man for example don't have families because they can't be there all the time and their families are at risk. Jason seems to be the only person that ever admitted his kids are at risk from his job.

When was the last time Jason did a hit...he let Shiloh go...forcing Sam to do the job for him...and he's also letting Nelle off the hook for all she did to Carly and is doing now doing to Micheal over Wiley...plus Cyrus is still walking around breathing...so tell me who was the last person Jason killed other then Faison who was holding Carly at gunpoint? I guess I'm confused why Jason can't still love Sam...and WHY he needs a HIT Woman to complete him...when he currently isn't doing any HITS himself...sorry but pegging Jason as nothing as a cold blood killer when he hasn't KILLED anyone lately is really getting oldLast edited by PinkDiamond; May 23, 2020, 12:13 AM.

Jason has to drop what he is doing at a moments notice to go do Sonny's bidding whether it be for 30 minutes or a week. This would not be so bad if his activities were not criminal in nature and could get him killed. I never forget the time he was willing to go to jail for years to protect Michael. Sam has to always accept his decisions and/or way of life or move on. If he had to choose between being in the mob or Sam and his son, it would be the mob.; I agree that Jason would be a much better fit with a women in a similar line of business with grown or no kids. Sam could do so much better.

Would love for Bree Williamson to return as Claudette (2016), and play a new love interest for Jason. Sam needs to move on to Brando or some new male character.
I got tired of the Liz vs Sam rivalry and stopped watching for a year or so. My hope is that the new show re-introduces Claudette as a woman who can roll with the punches of Jason's life, until he becomes much less co-dependant with Carly and Sonny ( LOL Never).
Claudette needs to return as happily childless; partner with Nina or take Maxi's place with Deception (prego Maxi to take maternal leave). Claudette will be a strong, independent woman, who can shoot, fight, etc (an Anna Devane-corporate titan type woman). She would be a better match for Jason than Sam. Sam is too clingy and dependant. Jason needs a woman who loves him, but doesn't need him to be complete and who is not intimidated/threatened by Carly.
Jason already has kids to be a father to; Charlotte can liken Claudette as a god mother type. One of those unpopular scenerios I guess, but I like it! AE2recalibrate.

This is simply a brilliantly excellent comment!
Perfect reasoning.
I agree with every single word you wrote.
If Jason were such a cold-blooded "killer", Nelle, Cyrus and Peter would be dead, along with Shiloh (whom Sam shot to keep him from Killing Jason, btw).
And of course Jason can "still love Sam"!
Jason loves Sam, Sam loves Jason, unconditionally, and that is absolutely the way it should be.

A cold blooded killer would not care about Ronin's or Michael's connections.
Jason is not now, nor, imo, has he ever been a cold blooded killer.
He always killed in self defense and/or to protect others.
And Sonny, imo, is also not a cold blooded killer.
If he were, Cyrus would be dead. Why wait?

A killer that is not cold blooded is still a killer, yes?

I don't think he's a cold blooded killer but the show has told us many times and in many ways that he's a stone cold killer. He has even said that he enjoys the work because he's good at it.
I don't think he's a good fit for anyone romantically. Killers aren't romantic. But it would have been a fun story to have someone come to town who he knew during those 5 years he can't remember.Shelly, Moderator

I don't see Jason with anyone unless Sam is dead. He has been devoted to her forever. IF they ever killed her off, I could see him getting back together with Liz because she would want to "comfort him" and it would go romantic over time. She'd drop Franco in a New York minute for Jason!!!

I agree that Jason and Sam will stay together, as, imo, they should.
If they ever kill off Sam, I don't think Jason would ever be with anyone romantically again. When you have the kind of love that JaSam share, when you fit together in such a beautiful and perfect, imo, way, there can never be "someone else".
And also, I disagree that Liz would drop Franco in a NY minute. I believe Liz has finally been written to be over her pitiful obsession. She is, imo, with the love of her life, someone devoted to her, as Jason is devoted to Sam.
