Sonny .If Julian had gone to Sonny as soom
as he found out the truth.. Sonny would
have I think..appreciated it. But instead
Julian knowingly kept the secret and planned to for however long if Brad had not confessed.

Sonny won;t be understanding when he finds out Julian knowingly kept Michael from his son.

I agree with both of your points. But, if Julian was smart, he would have told sonny the truth now and testified to it all at the trial, as well as pressing charges against his wife for blackmail. End of the problem, handcuffs on the mother, custody for Michael. Sonny would be furious, but I think Julian could have redeemed himself.. Better late then never. But no....

It’s too late at this point. He knew too long for Sonny to let it go. Now, if he’d come clean after Brad finally admitted the truth to him, it would’ve been different. Sonny would’ve probably even been grateful, but he chose to hide it instead.

When Brad slipped and revealed Wiley was Michael's child, Julian threatened to tell Michael if Brad wouldn't.

Brad immediately threatened to tell Sonny that Julian knew the baby was Michael's from the beginning to guarantee that if Sonny killed Brad, Julian would be killed as well.

Julian should have punched Brad in the face and informed Lucas first, and then together informed Michael.

Instead, the writers followed this up with Julian caving to blackmailers Brooklyn and Nelle.

TPTB have effectively killed Julian's attempt to reform S/L.

Sonny will have no reason not to put a hit on him if Nelle gets any kind of custody.

Yes, Brad told Julian he'd make sure Sonny thought Julian knew the baby was Michael's from the beginning. Julian kept his mouth shut, but it wasn't willingly.
