  • So Spencer did write the letter

Some speculated that Ava wrote it
but according to Sonny dialogue today
Spencer did indeed write the letter telling
    Nik to divorce Ava.

    The phrasing was his style.

It made no sense to think Ava wrote it. Wouldn't Nik call Spencer about his letter to discuss losing 90%of his assets?

It kind of makes sense. Ava has been unable to get him to cheat, so going a different route to get a divorce through no fault of her own seems like a very Ava thing to do. Nik doesn't want to discuss the matter with Spencer because it will just shine a light on the fact that he cherishes his money more than his son. Hey, is it possible Ava and Spencer are in on this together?

You don't think Nik would go to Spencer in Paris and tell him why he married Ava? Give Spencer the choice of losing 90% of his inheritance or living with Ava? You think he'd give Ava what she wants without even discussing it with Spencer? Spencer hates Ava, why would they work together?

The writers are ignoring that bit of logic because I think their game plan is to have Nik and Ava fall in love. Then watch Spencer's head explode. The kid who plays Spencer, or a recast, can return to PC angry and angsty and be the troubled child to mess with the teen scene.

Spencer's reason for hating Ava has been buried under the fact that his father is alive, and Valentine has been dethroned as the Cassadine heir. They are both angry at Nik right now. Spencer for letting him grieve his death for so long and Ava for him trying to manipulate her over her grief for Kiki when she was at her lowest point.

Some viewers see hidden meanings behind everything. To paraphrase Groucho Marx, sometimes a letter is just a letter.

Does school, in France, ever end for the summer? It's approaching the end of May. I think that the kids in PC acknowledge the real-time calendar.

Nikolas allowed Spencer to finish out the term, but now, he should fly over and drag his minor son's ass back to PC, and then, they all deal with their issues, face to face. Unless, of course, Spencer's presence would hinder Nik's master plan.

Nik doesn't have to allow snarly Uncle Sonny to be the middle-man in the relationship between Nik and his son.

Yes, I agree that Spencer is angry with Nik and Ava. But if he's willing to forgive nik if he divorces Ava, then he should know why nik married her and what the consequences of their divorce would be. Then, see if Spencer feels the same way about the divorce.

I think that's the key. If he loses his inheritance because he didn't have all of the information, he's still going to be mad at Nik.
