I hope not. I could do without it ever again to be honest. Back in the 90's it felt like a big deal. Now it's 4 tables of the usual suspects and cringe inducing acts. If they don't have the budget to do it right then just leave it alone. The past few years have been terrible.

The sad part is they still have the TALENT. It's ALL still there. James Patrick Stewart has the most BEAUTIFUL voice - as does Wally Kurth. Finola is a phenomenal dancer. Eden and William can sing. Lucy is still there to host. Mac and Kevin can dress up in drag and perform a COMEDY act if they wanted. Steve Burton does standup comedy. Let him shock everyone - by having Jason get the audience to LAUGH.
There IS a way to do this RIGHT - if the writers put some thought into it.

Oh, my gosh- a comedy routine between JPS and MEK ( without the old jokes about his ex- wife Catherine Hickland) would be great. They have wonderful comedic timing.

It would be wonderful to see everyone coming together. I have seen many a split screen concert, duets, trios. With technology you can do it all. You don't need a sound stage. You can even put the actors in front of a green screen and let the technical crew superimpose them onto the same screen for conversations.
Then they could start the stories again after they are allowed go out in groups. Court could have been postphoned for the summer (their pandmic starts in May not March)

Well that works well for the Brooke Lynn story.
Brooke is supposed to be a good singer like her parents but it appears the actress they hired to play her doesn’t sing Hence the storyline of the no singing contract. I was wondering what they would do with her at the Nurses Ball
