Should there be a Nurses Ball in 2020 ?

After 4 episodes this week the show is on hiatus. The show might start airing again in August or September or October. Would you want to see a Nurses Ball or no ?

It seems they already were talking about it prior to the Covid-19 shutdown so it would be kind of strange not to - unless they just write some dialogue as if it already happened.

I do not want to see a 2020 nurses ball after viewing the upcoming 3 weeks of previous nurses ball clips. In fact, I plan o doing a LOT of FF'ing with my remote.

Yes, I think there'll be a celebration and charity ball. However, I'd rename it " Celebration of LIFE" and incorporate SPECIAL APPRECIATION FOR the healthcare workers into the performance theme.

I'd also change the AIDS funding to a funding for all the possible emergency disaster type equipment GH/ PCPD/PCEMS/PCFD could need. Maybe call it " GH Cares" for that part. I think the funding for AIDS is totally under control now, but as we know, there are new viral threats to our world. I'd plan it as a charity ball/ celebrations of being alive throughout 2020/ planning for a better future type theme. It's hard to explain here, but it fits together well.

There shouldn't be a Nurses Ball. It's a waste of money at this point. But last I heard, they're determined to shoot it since all of the dresses and songs are picked out and everything.

How would shooting the Nurses Ball even work? There are new guidelines that they're going to have to follow.

Maybe it can be a Christmas Ball. Who knows what restrictions will be in effect by then? We don't know. No one does.

I liked a lot of what they did in the singing on the daytimecares live videos. There were some glitches, but mostly minor like a microphone needing adjustment, which the actors know how to change well.

BUT restrictions could work in its favor if they filmed solo singers

I would not care if they never had another one. There are just some things better left as a memory, and for me that was the OG Nurses Ball. The ones they have had in the past few years are just a poor substitution.

TPTB need something to jumpstart viewing in August / September. The Nurses' Ball would be the perfect means, alternating with the custody trial closure. Then gradually bring everything else up to speed.

I wish they would just skip it, but I guess it depends on how much work they have already put into it. If they have already gone to a lot of expense, it would be a shame to waste it.

I love the nurses Ball and I would say yes but as MalteseBaby above suggested a Christmas Ball in it's place would be nice and still be able to raise money for the hospital. I am a Nurses Ball Fan.....

I love the Nurse's Ball. American Idol can have their talent perform from their homes and our cast can too. It would be wonderful to see everyone coming together. I have seen many a split screen concert, duets, trios. With technology you can do it all. You don't need a sound stage. You can even put the actors in front of a green screen and let the technical crew superimpose them onto the same screen for conversations.

I've only seen one Nurses Ball, but I really liked it (even if it probably was a pale comparison of Nurses Balls of the past.) Really I think I'm just in favor of an annual "event" like the Bauer Barbecue. So I will definitely want something. I love the idea of a Christmas ball.
