Good with the bad in one thing, but lately it's been nothing but bad.

You are so not alone. I think this is what the writers want. Poor ratings so they can cancel the show.the comment beinso negative have convinced me that they want the show cancelled. Right now, it's cancelled for me. I'll read the comments, but when I see Nelle I have to change the channel.

I enjoy watching Nelle. The boring part of the story is Wiley obsessed Willow and dull as dirt Michael. Nelle is the one holding my interest.

Yeah, Nelle trashed her relationship with Michael because she was obsessed with getting back at Carly. However, finding out Nina is her mother & that she's in her corner could change Nelle for the better.

She had potential for that in Michael but she trashed it..

What will the story be if she wins or loses custody? Maybe, kidnap Wiley if she's loses?

Definitely this, I have been tempted to stop many times but this close to having no new episodes I just can't walk away.

I think Nelle needs someone in her corner so she can begin to change & grow just like Carly did when Jason was there for her. I think that someone for Nelle is Nina who will probably testify on her behalf at the custody hearing & leading up to both of them finding out they're mother & daughter.

Thanks Carny, glad it isn't just me. They share so many traits and I have not seen any layers or nuances in Val or Nina

I'm so sick of this story line I don't know what to do! I still tune in to see what's going on with other characters but it's mostly this.

We must suspend reality when watching the soap. Emily's cancer was cured by a kiss, after all. We are forced to believe that Nelle is smarter than all the people in this town as she always comes out ahead. There is no logic to this writing and no basis in reality. I'm so sick of Nelle.

The Lulu, Maxie custody battle almost turned me off...forever. This one may be dumber.

    I agree.

That is what it must be.

Why else would this character, who imo is not at all entertaining, get so much air time?

Valentin and Nelle are almost polar opposites!

Valentin feels deeply and passionately for the people he loves, and for the people he hates.
    He is driven by emotion.
    He is a tortured soul.
He is capable of both feeling and inflicting deep hurt.
He is capable of equally deep, even obsessive, love and passion.
He is layered and nuanced and, imo, supremely interesting.

    Nelle feels nothing.
    She is incapable of love.
She is incapable of hate, real hate.
Rather, she is driven by a robotic, mechanical agenda.
Nelle is the ultimate bore, imo.

    Eileen …..
Psychopaths, I believe, can be rehabilitated, and "change".
Sociopaths are biologically wired to be incapable of any feelings for other people,
