    It's on Monday. I know this because it is also my birthday. Fun fact, it is also Jonathan Jackson's birthday. Rebecca Herbst is the day after on the 12th.

        I don't recall Sam's birthday coming into play except to establish she was Alexis' daughter. Does anyone recall it being celebrated on the show?

          The only time I remember it was during the whole Jason going to jail to protect Michael and he forgot it was Sam birthday . Other then that I don’t remember.

                  Why would anyone know this? A character's birthday?

                  Since Sonny mentioned it was Dante's birthday like two days ago, I wondered how anyone would really remember the actual birthdays of any character on any soap. Then I remembered that many characters' births coincided with important dates like New Years Day or Christmas, etc., so the soaps would regularly mention them.

                  Or the other soap staple: two babies born on the same day like Babe and Bianca's babies on AMC. Or Sarah and Kristen's babies on Days recently.

                  Other than that, it would be really hard to remember characters' birthdays on soaps unless the dates were significant.

                    Sam may have been born on Mother's Day...but as others said her official birthday is May 11,1980...so the Sam character will be 40 on MONDAY.

                      Well since the Mother's Day's date can change every year, it's better to refer to the date rather than the fact that it's Mother's Day.
