Any theories on why Brando wants to stay in PC

I liked the talk today between Brando and Sonny. Sonny seemed to not quite know what to make of Brando wanting to stay.

It is kind of odd. As far as we know, the only people Brando knows are Sonny's family, Molly, TJ and Sam.

What/who do you think is the reason he wants to stay.

I think he likes Molly. And of course he likes having his own shop and now he is getting used to Port Charles.

At first a few weeks ago he acted like he wanted to go back to his life in Chicago. Was that a ruse or did the writers change the direction? Who knows?
I like him and hope he stays a good guy possibly working undercover. Just please don't pair him with Sam. He deserves somebody better. And i like Sam but her and Jason are better fit for each other
both thrive on the mob lifestyle.
Brando seems to be a truly decent guy not a mob type.

Eh part is the idea of being told you can't go back. I think a lot of us react to being told you can't do something. MAYBE he likes having his own business. MAYBE he was attracted to one of those insane Davis sisters/ MAYBE he works for Cyrus and it was just a cover to say he did not want to say.OR he is a cop

He even told Sonny his problem with being made to stay in PC was that he wasn't given a choice, and after prison, where choices are far and few between, he really resented that. Now he has his own business and PC seems like a nice town. I don't need the guy to be undercover for me to like him. Just being an "ordinary working Joe" will do it for me. But if he is undercover I hope it is for the DEA or ATF and not for Cyrus.

Either he is secretly working for Cyrus and needs insider info to pass on...or he's already fallen hopelessly in love with Molly.

I hope Sam leaves Post Charles and we never hear from her again... Oh yes Please Keep Brando away from Sam.. if he isnt in trouble or jail yet he will be if he gets with her.. she'd be nothing but a monkey on his back... she would bring him down so bad..

Sam's visit to his garage totally pissed me off! She just had to have the last word, he was being reasonable and polite and she kept hammering at him, spoiling for a fight.

It pissed me off too. Nothing else for her to do?? Remember all the boo hoos when she was in prison about being away from her kids, well stay home with them now. She needs a vacation off screen.

He wants to say for SamDo to become a thing and Sonny to have to choose between his boyfriend and his blood.

He has a business that was given to him and is now getting established and feeling at home. I’m not going to a place where he is undercover.... yet. He seems too genuine. I see him as a man who has struggled in the past, had a traumatic military deployment, and is now just trying to live a simple life.

I think his future purpose will be to hook up with someone, beit Molly, Sam (urgh, I hope not), or Sasha would be my choice. I hope he joins Sonny and Jason when it’s time to go against Cyrus and we know that day is coming.

I am not sure if this but didn’t Brando have his own garage in Chicago or where ever he came from? I thought that was why it was so hard for him to stay in PC so Sonny bought the garage and gave it to him. Maybe he is staying because of big secret he is undercover for another mobsters that one is doubtful, he is staying because he is interested in Molly or Sam.
A totally out of the blue question didn’t Johnny Z. own a auto repair garage? He, the actor Brandon Barash, now is back on “Days” playing a look alike character of Stefan DiMera now playing Jake working in a auto repair garage. Sooo gorgeous

Right. Running your own business and being welcomed into a family has it benefits. He can always leave at anytime.

For now I will take him at his word. He likes it in Port Charles and has his own garage. I didn't get the feeling that he wants Molly. The banter with Sam was interesting and the stuff soap relationships start off with.
