There are some fantastic behind the scenes shots of GH from both past and present. They were even showing behind the scenes of the original Ice Princess story!
Plus there were some seemingly remastered scenes from the 80’s being shown as well. Hopefully that means we may actually get to see REAL classic episodes in the near future!Comment

It was great...I enjoyed it...but as others said...I can see why they may choose to not show those old episodes from the early years...because they were really choppy which proves they were not well preserved

I don't know what the hell that was. It was not what I was expecting to see. It could have been much better and something else. They should have shown the most important storylines of each soap and played the theme songs, leaving out the primetime soaps and reality TV 😨😒😔 -
This is interesting in that it seems hardly anyone heare watched reality shows. (and sinde we are hear watch(ed) soaps) Ihave never seen an appeal in these I never thought about them vs soaps .
OKay one theing I will say for the snippets I have seen while watching other shows. Soap actors are far better and more believable than those "REAL people"

No I do not think reality tv is the same as a soap, Reality tv is all about real people behaving bad, not a story written to entertain. I really am saddened that society is so addicted to Reality Tv. The last hour of this special felt like an ad to promote this genre. The first hour was great to see all the flashbacks from our favourite soaps.Comment

Go to the post further up where envious01 posted and the click on the little arrow in the upper right hand corner of the comments that are in that post. It appears that at least some of the comments from that thread are in there. It happens when they merge threads I have found. Sorry I am not the best at explaining things 😉

Just finished this and now am sad. Seems last half was designed to make us come to terms with daytime soaps being unsustainable and we should just binge prime time and watch reality tv instead. No doubt all are dramas and there are great ones, but the daytime soap is a reliable everyday friend. Other shows are very limited and short lived comparably. 😞 -
I was just thrilled that they included a couple of Dark Shadows clips! 😀 -
MyOnlyVice I agree the last half was really a kick in the gut to real soap fans. There is another thread on this if you want to look at all the comments and frustrations many of us shared. You're not alone.
