Disappointed in the Snake Narritive

I thought I had missed an episode. Cliff hanger and then no follow-up or fallout.

And it seems they do these odd jumps all the time. They spend forever on the build up....and them "poof", nothing. I would have gladly traded half of that party for watching people scatter from that snake and then it's capture.

This was really disappointing. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have filmed Finn scooping up the snake as Ava shrieks and the kids squeal with delight . They already had the actors there. They could have used a rubber snake to avoid cruelty to animals or scaring children. They could have Finn then assure everyone the snake is not poisonous.
It was all very anticlimactic.

Agreed! It would've only taken a minute to show that on screen...

I was surprised that they seemed to pass over the snake episode so quickly. Unless I missed something, the whole thing was rushed today without showing much of what happened. I was actually hoping to see a bit more of it live including the interactions among the partygoers. All we heard was that Ava screamed.

I agree. And Val isn’t gonna come clean to Laura at least? Charlotte should have had to tell her mom and apologize to Ava....

it's not like they would use a real snake or a cgi snake in "action" scenes on a soap budget.

the most we could have hoped for was some quick cuts and a rubber snake stand-in.
