So if the murder charges against Valentine are dropped, what grounds does Lulu have to go for full custody?

What grounds does Lulu have for seeking full custody of Charlotte?

Doesn't seem like she has any charges to bring ... because the whole "kidnapping" Charlotte thing won't hold water in court because he has equal custody and there is no way to prove he really was going to leave town with Charlotte when he took her from Windemere. Looks like Valentin gets off again ... which part of me is glad because I don't want JPS to leave the show ... but it will be good if he has to start his life over basically from scratch losing everything, he deserves some suffering after all he has done.

This is such utter BS. We KNOW that Valentine SHOT Nik out of that window, held everyone hostage, tried to murder Laura, shot Kevin, tried to kidnap Spencer AND Charlotte THREE times, AND threw Ava off the parapet.
And TIIC are making LULU look like the paranoid parent for wanting to PROTECT HER CHILD from Valentine.
I've never seen such an a$$ backwards garbage storyline - so full of crap.
GH - where the monsters and psychos rule the roost...……..and the little people are just the minions - robotically following their command.

You are correct but I find Lulu so annoying that it is coloring my feelings about her case. Plus Valentine is such a devil-may-care SOB that I can't help but root for him!
-
-
The problem is that everyone, including Lulu, knows that Valentin would NEVER hurt Charlotte, so taking his custody away without him being convicted of anything is not going to work. At some point, ONE of his attempted murders is going to have to stick!

Because Lulu would never suggest that Sonny shouldn’t have custody of his kids. Ava shouldn’t have Avery. But even when Sonny’s family is being shot at, no one but Jax says a word.

Ava told EVERYBODY at that wedding exactly what Valentine did - including the POLICE COMMISIONER - an demanded that Valentine be arrested.
Jordan stood their with Valentine's dumb "who me?" look on her face and did jack SQUAT.
Ava and Nik NEEDED to be there to at Valentine's trial as the VICTIM and KEY WITNESS.
WTF kind of trial was it when NONE of the key players where there????????
I swear I think somebody on that writing team got their credentials from a Cracker Jack box.

Maybe because Ava killed Connie, and stabbed Kevin after he was handcuffed. And hates Valentin. No one really cares enough to take it further.

What about the fact that the first (or second) night she had Charlotte, Lulu ended up getting arrested because she got in a bar fight?

I don't think she has anything unless he goes to jail. If not, fraud with no charges isn't something that's going to get her full custody. Ava being tossed over will probably be his word against hers. The shooting was already dealt with in the country it happened in and most likely won't be brought back up in the US. In the meantime, Lulu got arrested for the bar fight, so that could possibly work against her, as well as Charlotte jumping in the water. I don't think it will though so I don't see any custody changing.

I absolutely LOATHE Valentine's role as Charlotte's father - but none of my frustration is against you - just the storyline.
He has tried to flee the country THREE TIMES with Charlotte. If he could have gotten away with it - he would take Charlotte away from Lulu as far as he could get and not give a rat's patootie about her feelings in the matter. He wouldn't care that Charlotte and Lulu have created a bond and love each other. He wouldn't care that they would both be devastated to be taken away from each other. He wouldn't care that he would be depriving his daughter of her mother, grandmother, and stepmother. Valentine does what is best for Valentine. Nobody else's feelings matter to him.
He has a long laundry list of crimes that would absolutely prevent him from becoming a fulltime father to Charlotte. But since he is ABOVE THE LAW - in apparently ANY COUNTRY - none of his crimes matter. He has free reign to commit any crime he wants - and never go to jail. He has free reign to treat Lulu and her family and way he wants - and still have her BEG to spend time with HER DAUGHTER.
It's NOT RIGHT.
TIIC are doing everything in their power to make Lulu look like a horrible mother - who is not fit to raise her child.
The irony of it all - just makes Lulu's fans root for her to shove Val off his high horse - to see how far he'll fall.

I feel like the shooting in Greece could be revisited because the victim is now here to testify and unlike Ava I'm not sure he can be bought to not testify

ScrubsFan#1 - you are right, it's all the writing! It's not even soapy, it's unrealistic.

It would be a great twist if Nina told the courts about Val's other attempts to flee the country with Charlotte.

Trying to take Charlotte permanently out of the country and away from her mother - never to be seen again is called attempted kidnapping.
It's a crime - and absolutely needs to be addressed in the courts.
It establishes a pattern that he's willing to sever a mother and daughter bond - without any regard to their feelings.
PLUS he and Lulu have JOINT CUSTODY.
He CANNOT leave the country and NOT COME BACK.
-
-
Simply taking Charlotte to a hotel in town would NOT have involved knocking Peter out - and SNEAKING her through the tunnels.
EVERYBODY knew what he was doing. They're not stupid.
And if he hadn't been caught - he WOULD HAVE been long gone out of the country - and never coming back.
Certainly not giving an ish about taking Lulu's daughter away from her.
Seriously - how many more excuses does he get for his CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR??????
