Can Amanda Setton (nuBrook Lynn) sing?

I don't know, but when GH posted the Christmas Carol bit on Facebook she was the MC/announcer rather than a performer.

I would hope they hired someone who sings well for the role of Brook Lynn The character is a professional singer. I expect her to sing at the nurses ball too.

Brook Lynn always reminded me of a lounge singer, from any time that she ever sang on the show.

You would think that they would hire someone that can sing, since Brooklynn is a singer. She did start "We Gather Together" on Thanksgiving, but It wasn't enough to tell how good she is

I wondered the same thing when they first brought her on. From what I could research about her, she is not known for singing. I saw only acting credits. She seems to do a lot of comedic acting.

Nothing against Amanda Setton but in that Christmas eppy Wally was singer over everyone I believe purposely.....If you ever saw Adrianne sing as Brooklyn you’d know those are big shoes to fill...Adrianne sang so beautifully on Wally’s own song “Only One I love” and at Lila’s funeral...Her music was featured on GH before she was there as Brooklyn....First song Adrianne wrote she was 14 and it was “I Would Do Anything” used in a montage 4th of July fireworks scene with 2nd Lucky Jacob Young....

We now know Amanda can't sing, and they're probably starting a plot where Brook can no longer sing just so Frank could give one of his OLTL friends a job instead of bringing Adrianne back.

I would hope she can sing but just as she was about to her producer Linc stopped her. So are we never going to hear Brook Lynn sing due to that contract? We need some good singers for the nurses ball.

She does not sing..I searched nothing about her as a singer. If she sings it will be via a voice over. That is why the contract mayhem.

The sad thing is pretty much anyone can sing with autotuned involved. Take a look at 90% of the Nurses Ball acts from the last few years, the amount of autotune they use on the number is VERY obvious. So if it ever comes down to her performing on screen (Which they've avoided so far), they'll probably just autotune the crap out of it.

I can't remember if she can sing, but I was delighted to see her added to the cast. She won me over on OLTL and her character was unlikable at first but changed and grew. She's a very good actress.

I heard her when she first came on, and I thought that she didn't sing well..but that's just m opinion.

I remember Adrienne singing back in the day. I'm surprised she never sang on Y&R when she played Colleen.
