I am intrigued now. Who could be Valentin's father? If he is not a Cassadine then neither is Charlotte. Maybe she will be Stavoris' daughter after all and if Valentin is not her bio father, he would not be able to take her away from Lulu.

It never made sense to me that Helena used Valentin's sperm. Her pride and joy was Stavros (Nik's Daddy). Learning today that Helena was Val's Mom now this makes sense- I think

It sort of makes sense to me. Helena lived for toying with the Spencers. What better way to do that than by using Valentine's sperm to insure that her bloodline would continue on through a Spencer child? If I were Lulu, I would be petrified at the idea that Helena is my daughter's biological grandmother. I hate that Luke isn't here for all of this. I couldn't even imagine his reaction to knowing that his granddaughter not only shares his blood but Helena;s too! The saving grace in all of this is that Helena is dead and Charlotte is a girl. Can you imagine if Charlotte were a boy and Helena were still alive too???? Poor kid would never stand a chance!

I do not feel sorry of this character. Valentin has been written well with NIna as his Achilles' heel. Up to yesterday, the character was pretty much living up to the hype of being the most ruthless Cassdine from the current tree.
NOW he's not a Cassadine? I want/ need the backstory (with loads of Constance Towers) to make me feel sorry for this evil man. Helena is known to eat her young: she killed her daughter Irina; now she jerks the rug out from her own son? Back story/ Back flash had better be in the works for the Valentin Redemption tour to work.
