Wasn't the reason provided to use Andrew instead of Jason was because Jason's brain was damaged and the memory transference would not work on him? Wasn't that why Drew was used to replace Jason by Helena? Wasn't that why Jason was held in captivity with a muzzle, aka Hannibal Lector, for years? Are they forgetting that storyline?

yes you are correct.....shiloh holding sam hostage sounds like he wants the memories to go into jason.....that won't work...but....dr maddox made some improvements so that could be one of them that they are now implantable in jason....also someone else might end up with them instead.,,,otherwise jason should not be used in the first place

This was my first thought (about SHank's motive). If JasDrew didn't know Sam, and still loved Kim, Jason might leave Sam and start trying to have a romance with Kim.

That said, I doubt it will happen; imo, Jason is not going to get Drew's memories.

I've seen those, and what I don't understand is this. They were developed to be used on TWINS.. and only twins was my understanding. So how does he expect it to work on anyone else? The reasoning was that twins had the same DNA.. won't be true for cousins or children or people not related. Or did I miss something?

The procedure was first tried on identical twins to help increase likihood of success, that is what Andre said. The WSB wasn't looking to JUST transfer memories twin to twin, they were looking to transfer memories of agents IMO, that would really be limiting if they were only able to use twins.

yes but it still stands that they said it couldn't done on jason because his brain damage makes it impossible,,,,so even if it ends up in someone else the elephant in the room is that it won't work on jason so they shouldn't go there,,,unless they come up with an explanation.....or they will just ignore it

I still can't find any scene where anyone said this to Jason, the only scene is Faison with Jason, explaining he couldn't program him (like Lucky in the 90's) due to his brain damage. But nothing saying Jason couldn't be mind mapped when in fact he was already successfully mapped and transferred to Drew.

I thought the deal was that Faison could not control Jason the way he could Drew because of the brain damage. Not that the memory implant couldn't be done, but that the reason for implanting Jason's memories into Drew was to give him Jason's mind and skill set without the brain damage that made him immune to Faison's mind control technique

oh good point it was that faison couldn't control jason because of the rain damage not that the the memories couldn't be put in him...been so long it is hard to remember the exact details..I was was also thinking shiloh doesn;t know this

No, the deal was that because of Jason‘s brain damage, he wasn’t a perfect candidate for the mind control, not the memory mapping.

And to make matters worse, if they use Franco instead, which is what seems to be the direction they are going in, he's got brain damage too from his brain tumor. Jason had the tumor as well once, right? I somehow remember Sam worrying over him in a coma at some point. Plus the car accident changed his memories.

We never found out WHY they used Jason's memories on Andrew and not the other way around. Sonny speculated it was because they wanted the perfect soldier. And they left it at that but Andre said he had no idea why they wanted it done that way, just what the backer wanted. I'm starting to wonder if the backer didn't WANT Jason's memories, wanted to eliminate Drew's memories. And Klein didn't have Jason for years. That is the thing, Jason said it must have been for years but he lost track of time and had thought it was only weeks. But we saw Klein called the person who sent P6 to him, said he didn't have the capability to hold him, said they lied about his abilities to him and that no one could control him and they needed to come back and get him.... And the only person I remember talking about Jason's brain damage was Faison and that was about programming him (like they did Lucky all those years ago) said programming wouldn't work because of his brain damage.

Let's be honest, none of it makes sense. Just speed this story up and restore the appropriate memories to all involved and then please promptly forget that it ever happened.
