I agree and no matter what anyone says about Carly who I love she is always there for Joss and supporting her. As she said to Joss " I don't know what I would do" if it was her that was in Kim's position. She was honest and forthcoming.
Until you are in that position who is to say how any of us would react.

I love that about Carly. You always know exactly where you stand with her. She's not fake, she doesn't do pretense. She gets right in your face and lays her cards on the table. I love LW as Carly, and I love Mama Bear Carly Corinthos. The scenes with Joss and Carly were wonderful. Loved it. Kim and Ava should take notes.

Carly is imperfect as a person, but Ava is a horrible person and Mother. Carly has never killed anyone, has never put herself in a position to have to choose between her freedom and her children. Has never screwed her daughters boyfriend, or been hateful towards her kids no matter how cruel they were to her deservingly or not. She definitely would never wished harm on them. Carly’s love for her children is unconditional. And please don’t say but Franco, because GH changed that story, although I will never forgive that horrible out of character storyline(Lol). Ava most certainly could learn a lot from Carly when it comes to parenting with unconditional love and forgiveness. Also, I don’t think Carly would of have kept that secret from Joss about her health. They would have tackled it together.

I actually came on here this morning to start a similar thread, but I'm glad to see others share this opinion.
Carly is one of those characters who can really grate my nerves. She can be bitchy, smug and so condescending and many times I can't stand to watch her.
But ithen there's this whole other side of Carly that Joss beings out.

When she's in mom mode with Joss, (for me I only really see it with Joss not as much with Michael or when Mirgan was alive) , she becomes likeable and level headed and genuinely suppoertibe. Maybe because Josslyn is Jax's daughter. Joss is much like Jax and Jax brought out a better side of Carly and their daughter does the same to Carly. Maybe that's it. Whatever the reason, Joss is the one character who makes Carly likeable for me.
(Ok maybe Lucas does too, but we'd have to really see them together more often for me to make that informed decision.).

But overall it was great seeing Carly be such a suppoertibe force for Joss.

I've never heard horrible words coming from Carly and Sonny's mouth when talking about their children.

Carly is not perfect but she is a good mother to josselyn. This is the story the show is telling.

Ava said she'd be happy if Kiki were gone. The horrible words that came from Ava's mouth about her own daughter is what got her daughter killed.

Repeating over and over "Ava is a great mother" doesnt change the story that the show is telling which is that Ava is a vile excuse of a mother.

Back to the topic, I was very moved by the Carly Josselyn conversation. It was refreshing to see, even in sadness, such a beautiful mother-daughter moment.
