With Sonny discussing the murder of Margaux's dad years ago with Jason and Carly, its lucky for them that Margaux has not had the apartment bugged. She could have Sonny arrested by now.

I doubt she'd have been able to get a warrant. She has no probable cause, as I'm sure Jordan would have told her. Anything she got without that would be inadmissible. -
I must have missed the part where DA Dawson knew for sure that Sonny killed her dad. She keeps saying "all I need is the gun with Sonny's fingerprints on it" and "you shot my father" every time she talks to anyone. How in the world did she come to this conclusion? Did Sonny admit it to her?Comment

Shame Drew wasn't wearing a listening device. He could have had Margaux arrested by now. For theft and for blackmailing.Comment

She doesn’t know who killed her father, she jumped to the conclusion that he did it when they found her father’s body- it’s just a convenient plot point that Sonny happened to kill her father. As for her not wiire tapping Sonny’s house/phones, she would need more than her own suspicions to request and get a warrant signed by a judge. At this point she has nothing, which she beautifully demonstrates by her blackmailing and harassment of Drew to give up his current memories and dirt on Sonny and/or Jason in exchange for the flash drive, instead of investigating Sonny and building a legitimate case against him.Comment

I think Margo's whole theory is based on the fact that Daddy Marino was buried in Julian's basement, and Sonny tried to buy the property.
If Sonny hadn't tried to strong arm the property from Julian, then Margo had absolutely nothing to go on.Comment

Margaux only suspects that Sonny was involved...she has not real evidence that is true...so unless Mike is wrong about throwing that gun in the Hudson River...and it shows up with Sonny prints on it...which after 30 years seems almost impossible...she would have no legal authority to bug Sonny's house

Yeah but Sonny has been so worried about it having his prints on it so why canat se find them.. The whole story is stupid it hasn't made sense from the beginning . The years are laughable that it was 30 years ago so she is only 32 and he is only 48. SOnny was SO worried that he set in motion the event to make SURE the body was discovered. This has ruined MIke;s story because one day he is so bad he has to go to a home and then the next he can plan out and carry this crime off. AND then use his condition to fool the cops.

I agree...when Mike said he threw it in the Hudson River...so they have nothing to worry about...Jason kind of rolled his eyes...like he didn't trust Mike really remembers...so that right there told me you know it's going to show up somewhere...and Sonny prints will still be on it? -
When Mike said that I was wondering if in fact he was just saying it to appease both Sonny and Jason.
And at the beginning of all this body thing I thought I remember Sonny saying he threw the gun in with the body when he buried it?

But was he completely intact? And if he was, was he telling the truth or just to satisfy all of them on the whereabouts of it as he knew how worried they all were? Just trying to figure what the writers will do about that damn gun.
He told Sonny because Carly asked him to which he did. I do hope the gun is at the bottom of the Hudson or buried in the New York sludge that lies beneath it!
I still have a nagging feeling about it.
