  • Today's the first time that I might start liking Peter & Maxie...

Wow, I mean, wow. Normally I've been pretty indifferent to Peter and Maxie and I have been largely on the fence about Peter, but I think today their scenes together might make me really start to warm up to them. I liked Peter telling a personal anecdote from his childhood to Maxie and Maxie really seemed to light up and beam in his presence. Honest to God there was a moment where I thought they were going to kiss but thankfully that hasn't happened yet. If they keep up this slow yet gradual momentum with Peter/Maxie I might eventually get on board with this pairing. This show is definitely handling them a whole lot better than the CW Dynasty is handling Fallon/Liam right now. I mean, the way that they're pushing them so quickly together after the questionable way Liam has been introduced to the show with little to no personality is appalling and disgusting.

I have loved them all along. Peter is a grey kind of character, (which to me usually end up being the most interesting and my favorite), as is Maxie. I am thrilled Maxie seems to be maturing by forgiving Lulu, and now Peter, and owing up to her misdeeds, thereby saying she shouldn't be judging anyone after some of the things she's pulled. I was especially moved when Peter seemed shocked that Maxie blurted out what if she didn't want him to leave her alone and he was momentarily stupified with his mouth hanging open, followed by a sweet, hopeful smile that she would actually allow him back into her life. Today's episode was all sorts of awesome today and theirs and Jasam's scenes were my absolute favorites.

I love Peter . I love Maxie too, but I am not entirely sure that Maxie has forgiven Lulu and Peter. She has matured considerably after she lost Georgie’s custody hearing and mostly out of Spinelli’s orbit as he doesn’t live in PC anymore.

Maxie turned away from Peter, when answering if she has forgiven Lulu and him. She definitely considered him a friend before she knew his identity. She wanted vengeance on him.

Did time help her see reason that he didn’t intend to cause any harm to Nathan or her? Did Dr.O’s revenge plan and kidnap snap her out of it? He would have been dead in the fire, if Finn didn’t bring him out of the burning barn and she did help in the CPR. Peter is also Robin’s half brother, and did have a horrible childhood as he grew up with Faison. She was witness to his panic attack. I do understand her softening towards him due to these reasons.

I can’t put my finger on it, but the sudden turn around is suspect. He quickly tried to exit twice or thrice when he saw her, and now she wants an answer to why he is avoiding her. I don’t know if it’s the writers pacing issues are the problem or if the other shoe is going to drop.

Yes, I feel the same. If they keep it slow and don’t move too fast with their story. I think it will be great.

Yea, I kind of feel the same. Somehow, they are making me like Maxie with Peter, which I didn't think was possible before. The slow build is working with these two.

Peter’s kidnapping by Dr Obrecht completely ruined him for me. He was so whiny and pathetic that I just can’t with him. Yeah I get that was an attempt to make him vulnerable so that he could be redeemed for Maxie but it didn’t work for me. I’d like Maxie to be on her own for a while and maybe bond with Michael.

I really liked their scenes, and felt bad for Peter when he was talking about his childhood.

I heard through a grapevine that Maxie may bond with Chet and this sorta makes peter get a little perturbed with Chet hanging around Maxi....

I like Maxie & Peter...I think it's been pretty obvious all along...they will eventually end up with each other...he is Nathan's half brother...so he is more or less is James uncle...plus Anna is Maxie's Godmother...so Maxie will also play a role in Peter & Anna getting close...so I have a feeling this is where it's going

I still don't like Peter, not sure that I ever will but I've had to accept that poor Maxie might be stuck with him for the near future. I'd honestly rather have Maxie with pretty much anyone else.

Peter still has a creepy feel to me. But like most of Maxie's pairings, it was obvious they would be a couple from the first scenes they had together.

I have liked Peter from day one, but I think he's even better now. He is a grey character, which I like, and I like that the writers are going slowly with Maxie and Peter and really establishing a friendship between them before ever moving those two into something more than that. Maxie isn't ready, but I look forward to seeing it. It's nice to see Peter, who is a big guy, be vulnerable. I hope the writers explore of his past as a child raised by Faison.

I want Michael and Maxie to at least be given some more scenes together too. I think Kirsten is one of those actresses who has chemistry with almost anyone she meets. When she was in the hospital talking with Drew, I even saw bits of chemistry. Hell, she even brings life out of Jason Morgan in their scenes. My only problem with Peter is he held Jason hostage for years. Jason and Maxie were friends and Sam is one of her best friends. Until they address this issue, I can't get on board. Although, I do like that they are not making Maxie be consumed with bitterness.
