She’s seems to think that Margaux’s father doesn’t deserve justice because he was criminal, but Jason does even though he is no better. I get Jason is her friend, but some self awareness would be nice.

The most important thing to Carly is to be able to stick her face right up into someone else's and declare "I WIN!" -
Jason didn't do anything to Margaux. She just wants to take him down because of Sonny who she thinks killed her father even though she has no proof and that Joe Scully had a lot of people other than an eighteen year old kid working for him probably including a hit man of his own. Carly isn't saying her father doesn't deserve justice. She's just doing what most people do when someone threatens their family. They fight back. Also she really does have reason to hate Margaux since it was her fault she got put into Ferncliffe.Comment

Carly did say that to Nelle, who deserved that and so much more. Since then, has she done that? Shouldn't any victim be able to claim victory after defeating such a heinous villain?Comment

Don't we all know by now that Sonny, Carly and Jason thinks everyone should pay for their deeds except themselves. The are the self-appointed judge, jury and executioners in all matters that don't relate to their personal flaws. And don't we all know by now that no one coming to town to take down Sonny will be discredited in one way or another so the trio will always win? It is old, stale and a waste of air time that could be used for other characters.Comment

That's not what was said at all. Margeaux is acting self-righteous, like her father (as Carly clearly stated) was not a mobster attorney and crook himself. Margeaux believes her father to be this innocent, virtuous father that was gunned down for no reason by the mob. She believes that Sonny, Jason and all mobsters are horrible criminals, but that her father was an upstanding citizen. What Carly wants to do is expose Margeaux's father for what he was - a mob attorney who hid all the crimes of his boss and got him off, knowing he was guilty of murders, racketeering and whatever else Joe Scully was involved in. At no point did Carly say that Jason was better than Margeaux's father, only that when you live in the world of mobsters, you usually die by the hands of one. Carly wants Margeaux to know the truth about her father - crimes and all - so she can come down off of her high-horse.Originally posted by Silentfan View PostComment

She's on a high horse because she's looking down her nose at Jason and Sonny, not realizing that her own father was in the same world and was a criminal. I have no problem with her wanting justice for her father, but then again, her father was in the world of mobsters and enjoying the money that goes with that world. She's constantly telling Jason "Why can't you be like Drew," and she now believes her father was this innocent guy who was gunned down by a mobster. He was a mob attorney, breaking the law and taking the money. He must have done something to Scully to get him killed, maybe stealing money. My point is that Margeaux DOES look down her nose at criminals, which is fine, but her acting like her father was better than Sonny or Jason is the point I'm trying to make. He wasn't.

This is so true...plus Franco is not only walking around he is going to marry Liz and become Jake's Step-Father...so Jason did not get revenge by killing either Peter or Franco...and the only reason he killed Faison is because he was holding a gun to Carly's head...or he probably wouldn't have killed him either...so I laugh when some say all Jason does is KILL... both Franco & Peter did damage to Jason and those he loved ...yet they are still ALIVE...so there are 2 examples that Jason does and has shown mercy...as for Margaux's Father nobody know the circumstances why he was killed...but Mob Lawyer or not...he worked for The Mob...and that's what Mobster's do...kill each other...not saying it's right...but it's not like her Father was an innocent victim that was gunned down by The MobOriginally posted by McShirls View Post

(So weird to answer in separate posts) It's about Carly and I'm pointing out that I believe that statement was false, citing Nelle as a time Carly said it that was clearly justified. And, if Jason was so horrible, he would have killed Peter regardless of what Anna and Robin thought. But he's not. And being facetious, because he's still alive. (Which I enjoy being.) Oh wait...
