What happens to Laura/Kevin after Ryan?

So, once all this mess is over and it is revealed that Ryan has been posing as Kevin this entire time, will Laura still want to be with Kevin? It seems like she will want to divorce Kevin because she will be scarred with the Ryan mess for the rest of her life. What are you guys thoughts?

I think it depends on how much damage is done by Ryan. If he killed or seriously injured Lulu, I think she'd divorce Kevin (or kill him).

You brought up the key issue here. Kevin keeping this a secret is going to be hard for Laura to accept. I really liked them together, but I just cannot see Laura getting past this deception.

Plus, should they actually have sex, that further complicates their issues. It's such a tremendous violation.

In real life couples get to be happy. In soap land happy couple's don't have a good storyline. So they can't be happy

I just can't see how Laura is going to get over this...it won't be easy for her to know Kevin kept this from her...and by doing so put everyone in danger...so I would not be surprised if they split up over this...maybe Laura can go back to Scotty...he has always loved her and been there for her through the years

I know this will never happen, but I always wanted Laura to pair back up with Stefan if he ever came back to the show. That probably will never happen, I know, but either way I am not looking forward to how the Ryan/Kevin story will end and all of the horrible things that will most likely happen....

Yes...I always loved Laura & Stefan...plus don't know if this is true...but there is a rumor that Laura is sidelined by what is going on with Kevin...because Nikolas is going to be found ALIVE and they have already cast someone in the role...so my hope is if Nikolas is not really dead...that means Stefan might not be dead either...and both him and Nikolas were both held hostage somewhere with together...so they both return

Sad to say, imo, this whole KevLaur storyline has turned out to be a dud.

They could have been a GH power couple, Dr. and Mayor, involved in many interesting storylines.

But, no; instead they are props in a Ryan rerun. Yawn! Fast-Forward.

Agree about the possibilities for an older power couple. Could've been great. Don't think the storyline is a dud, just disturbing and totally ugly. I cringe every time Ryan touches Felicia, or anyone else, and agree with many posters above that it'll be so hard for Laura to forgive Kevin's silence. Poof, there go the power couple possibilities.

So, GH writers are re-writing (again) and, for an added bonus, they're ruining Kevin....

Good question. I'd love to hear Kevin's reasons for keeping this secret.
Not sure there's a good one. I think forgiveness depends on how much
damage Ryan does whether how quickly it's given. It'll be hard for Laura
to assimilate, especially if Spencer is present, and more so Felicia.

I think the trust between the two will be broken and it's just not with Laura but Lucy, Mac and Felicia and otherswho are close to him. He knew howdangerous his brother is and yet he told no one he was alive and kept secretly at Ferncliff. After this mess with Ryan is over with this will be angst between Laura and Kevin and i'm excited to see where this goes because i love them together and Laura deserves an amazing story, hell all our wonderful Vets do.

I wonder if "Kevin's" rejection would push Laura into another man's arms? Romantic rejection is harsh so having someone waiting in the wings is the soapy way to go, imo. My vote is for Robert, but if they say that Gregory Chase is having marital problems it could line up with Laura's and there you go! The other thing I wonder is if "Kevin" has Laura committed (she has a history of mental issues) and SHE discovers Kevin in the facility and they reunite in time to save PC from Ryan's rampage. That's romantic and no third party, BUT not much story after....

I think your idea of Ryan having Laura committed is very clever and soapy, but I think lulu would be able to prevent that from happening. I would like Laura to have a part in solving the mystery.
