I'm not very picky, I like them all, it just needs better writing for some.
For temporary villains, I take them for those who are, like Constantine, temporary with his plot before leaving.

Afterwards it depends on the story sometimes they will annoy me or i will be indifferent, and I can appreciate them just after, I had that with Sarah, Eric.
