That would be the ideal outcome in my opinion. The baby will be fine, Jan will be fine, and Shawn won't be tied to Jan forever. I'm trying to think who the father could be - maybe she went to a sperm bank, so for years we won't know who's the father. Then sometime down the road a main character admits to donating sperm at a sperm bank, we look at the dates, and boom, we can have an interesting story line sometime in the future.

In soap opera fashion, DNA will show the baby to be Belle’s. After all, Jan was Belle when she and Shawn had sex.

I think I might have it that Jan's baby is stolen at birth, but Jan is lead to believe the baby had died(at least in the beginning, I'm thinking down the road Jan might get a clue that her baby hadn't died)...I know this all sounds so familiar. I'm probably one of the few people here in this forum that actually like the character of Jan and hope there is some type of continuance to all three characters, Shawn, Belle and Jan. I think the drama Jan causes is comical and I love Jan's one-liners....so let's not end it, atleast not yet.

Now who would steel this baby? Some new character or characters, a family member(we didn't know about until now), or maybe Sarah( her reasoning needs no explanation), I think we could all guess why.

Anyways, this is what I would do.

A still pregnant Jan and and Belle die in a fire set by Evan. Ben and Ciara try to save them...and they die too.

Shawn ends up raising his nephew Bo. Later Evan's sister Zoey comes to town. Shawn at first doesn't want anything to do with her because of what her brother did but eventually he realizes Jan, Belle, Ben and Ciara all sucked and made his life miserable. Zoey and Shawn bond over how hard it is to raise their nephews, fall in love yadda yadda. And then they get married and have their own baby (a girl).

The baby isn't Shawn or Jan’s. Don't care how writers - just make it so. The healthy newborn is reunited with the loving biological parents. Jan is returned to prison permanently with a no-contact order regarding Shawn and Belle under penalty of isolation. Shawn divorces Belle and eventually begins a relationship with a wonderful woman. Belle can go back to Phillip or whatever.

EJ's main love is Sami. It's in his blood to reunite with her. Belle is now vulnerable and can't think straight because of Jan. Don't think she fully is in love with EJ...but then again, the writing here is ooc. The real EJ would be hunting for Sami, don't you think?

As soon as EJ was released from prison, he should have been on the phone trying to get in contact with Sami and pleading his love and innocence to her. TPTB got EJ lusting after Belle now?? Makes no sense. Give us EJAMI back. I sure hope Sami mops the Dimera mansion floor with Belle's face.

prettypleasin yup! I just don't understand this....don't understand why Belle is scared of Jan. She should know that Jan is a pest and Shawn has no desire to be with her.
