I’m not understanding Leo

Is he supposed to be intimidating? Scary? Funny? Kooky and silly? I’m not understanding his character at all. If he’s truly angered at what Nancy did, why would he snatch her wig off? I mean, that’s kind of juvenile behavior. What’s the point of that?

I think of our real villains: Stefano, Victor, the old EJ, and there was one from years ago. They had an agenda and get our of their way. Or if they wanted revenge, God help you.

His scenes are just silly and FF material, IMHO.

I think what you said is the reason I love Leo so much. He’s not diabolical, like Stefano was. He’s not fake/phony like Kate is, who gets away with everything because no one holds her accountable, and she tries to ruin people’s lives repeatedly and never learns from her mistakes, or Kristen, who kidnaps and stabs people and doesn’t understand why people get angry with her for doing that. Leo is hurt, so he’s lashing out. I just hope he doesn’t do something so horrible that it’ll be difficult to redeem him later.

I love GR on both Y&R and Days. He is excellent on both. I never see Leo on Y&R or Kevin on Days. The line between the two characters is totally demarcated. There is absolutely no overlap in their personalities that I see. GR is such a talent.

And his character is straight on YnR, he's married with a family. He'll break the law in a second, particularly by using computers, but he's not mean spirited like Leo can be. Usually when he's breaking the law on YnR, he's helping someone he loves.

Leo is there to lighten the mood and he always does. Yesterday when he told a collapsing Sonny "I told you the fruit was fine - now the cookies are another story" I was laughing out loud.

Ghost Bo would come back and say "Awwww Heeeelllll No. I brought back the doctor so you could marry him once the lesbian dumped him . You need to have someone with decent coin now that you have a kid"

Yes, that’s exactly how I feel. He was never wronged, he’s not the innocent in all this. But I guess the writers have to try to cause dissension, even when there isn’t any

If only he’d tone it down a bit and be more subtle, more intimidating, he’d be more believable. He’s just silly IMO

The revenge plot is falling flat for me. I don’t believe loved Craig. We saw scenes on the phone, before he was exposed clearly showing he had other motives to be with Craig, his revenge is because he lost his meal ticket. It’s one thing to plant a story in a tabloid. But now he is verbal and physically attacking nancy,threatening Chloe, and drugging Sonny. That’s too far, and clearly put him in the villain category, a lame villain imo

Agree that he never loved Craig. And he already slept with Nancy's husband, so why is he going after her now? It is petty and ridiculous. He is a lame villain.

Back when Will and Sonny almost killed Leo and tried to cover it up then Leo blackmailed them because of, it annoyed me how everyone in Salem saw Will and Sonny as the victims in that scenario, they should’ve gone to jail over what they’ve done and the only reason they didn’t is because John blackmailed Leo into dropping the charges against them

I agree with this. He keeps whining and going on about getting revenge on his enemies, yet everything that happened was his own doing. His supposed love for Craig never felt real (I said that from the start - terrible storyline all around) and it certainly didn't work with his character. And his promises to Craig of being "different" from who he was fell flat even before the wedding. Now? Snatching Nancy's wig off her head, humiliating her in the middle of the town square and calling her a hag? That alone is proof enough he's still an awful little creep and should be enough for Craig to know to stay away from him. Then he drugged Sonny and is going to do who knows what to him.

This revenge spree just doesn't work because in no way can I look at this and see him as the wronged party. I also notice a name that has been conspicuously absent from his revenge list: Jackie Cox/Darius Rose. His co-conspirator and current husband. One would think he'd be at the top of the list since he's the one who blew it all to pieces by telling everything the truth about Leo's scheme. Another reason his declarations of revenge make me roll my eyes.

It bothers me how the people of Salem look at certain characters as if they were the worst of the worst (Nick Fallon, Charlie Dale, Leo Stark) while giving other characters who done more horrible things a pass mostly because of their families connections (Kate, Ava, Victor)
