EJ calling Gabi "incompetent"

I found it ironic that EJ called Gabi that considering the fact that she and Li were planning a celebratory dinner over the fact that she had just acquired a new company for Di Mera. From what Li said it was a highly competitive situation but thanks to Gabii's "incompetence" according to EJ- she was able to close the deal. Isn't that a good thing? Or maybe EJ and I just have different understandings of what the word "incompetent" means.

Seriously, though I just wish would the Di Meras would drop this pretense that "Gabi is going to destroy the company" when she held the CEO position for over a year during the time jump and the company is still standing. I find it telling that most of the time when the Di Mera board of Directors has the choice between Gabi and Chad for the position they seem to choose Gabi? By the way does it seem to anyone that Chad only cares about the CEO position when he DOESN'T have it? When he does hold the position he seems to just hang around the mansion doing anything other then his job But I digress.

The point I was making is that the reason the Di Meras don't want Gabi as CEO is because they don't like her. I concede that Chad specifically- has justifiable reasons for feeling that way. But while the Di Meras don't like Gabi personally that doesn't automatically mean she's bad at the job. I'll always remember when Jake was talking to Tony about returning control of "Gabi Chic" to Gabi, and Tony conceded that Gabi is a "talented businesswoman." I just wish Chad and EJ would show the same honesty. But the day that happens will probably the same day pigs sprout wings and take to the air.

So while EJ was in incapacitated and later in jail.
So while Chad was off planning revenge.

I would love to see the DiMera men get themselves together, get stable, and stop plotting revenge long enough to assume responsibility for their father's legacy.

The two times I believe that Gabi was CEO was when Tony didn’t want the position and Anna begged the board to give it to Gabi since she had been lurking for months. Chad was in Paris and just returning when that happened. Then Gabi lost the position to Chad.

This second time there was a vote where most members weren’t present and Johnny voted his shares and his father’s shares for Gabi. As we know now the real Johnny would never have done that.

So I don’t see where the idea that the board has seemed to chose her over Chad comes from.

EJ is a snob and has no reason to treat Jake the way he does. He never meant the man until his return.

I just thought that Gabi and Chad had squared off before the board more than just twice. I recently celebrated a birthday *cough* 49 *cough* so maybe the ol' memory isn't so clear.

The problem with Days is.....THEY don't go there with CABI (Chad & Gabi). They would be the powerhouse couple and thrown EJ out of the mansion. But since Days is not going THERE, we are going to see EJ TAKE ALL.....I rather see Gabi be a boss like moves with GabiChic rather being in someone else business to make them rich.

TBH, I wouldn't take EJ and his definitions for words seriously! After all, as per EJ, he and Chad are legitimate brothers and Jake is the illegitimate brother! Same with Chad, he referred to Stefan and Jake as the B word w/o realizing he's as much the B word as they are! I truly believe w/o an iota of doubt EJ and Chad are extremely jealous and envious that under Gabriela's control DE are striving and profiting! Proving w/o an iota of doubt the "incompetent interloper" is a much better businesswomen then EJ and Chad will ever be or hope to be!

It appears that the man can be easily impressed. Plus, he is quite smitten with the pretty, Gabi. I am sure he would sing her praises no matter what. JMHO

Ejami forever Hahaha the stock holders ARE EJ, Chad and Tony. Stefano is dead unless he was resurrected today. I like when they are kicked out and replaced with Gabi. It makes it even sweeter when she is kicked to the curb.

They are all great business people. DE is still standing and is always still standing no matter who is popping their behind in the big CEO chair.

Eh, I'd hesitate to trust Victor's opinion on business. His own company is struggling because he hired his criminal son (who put Titan at risk with his crimes) to be co-CEO, driving off Xander who by all accounts had been a very good CEO. Then Philip went over the edge and instead of reaching out to Xander, he waited for Sonny to come back. Not so sure his business sense is intact.

I would have to imagine EJ is sick of Li. The man treats the CEO position of DiMera like musical chairs. I think Chad is still okay with him because occasionally he manages to be sitting in the right chair. I think EJ misses Shin Sr., the man who was loyal to Stefano but no fool in business. And he certainly didn't pick CEOs based on BBQ sauce and ribs. I'm so over that being Jake's special business genius.

I'd say interloper is a better word for Gabi than incompetent. Now Li? Li is incompetent. And EJ is tired of watching his father's company constantly being thrown around in the hands of an interloper, a moron, and a guy who is only successful in business because he ate BBQ ribs while being told what to do by Kate and/or Gabi.
