Why did Peter side with Gabi?

I don’t remember Peter. I just remember he was with Jennifer. But why would he go against his brothers and side with an outsider? Did he have a relationship with Gabi?

That's what I want to know. EJ and Chad thought Peter was voting with them, then, he didn't. Why not? I hope they don't
let that slide, like they do so many times. Maybe Kristen got to him, but if so, why?

It is kinda interesting. They seemingly have no intention of bringing Peter back considering Melissa Reeves is back. Yet by siding with Gabi over EJ they've implied Peter has a sinister agenda we can only guess at.

I mean think about it dating a secret Dimera who would go on to take over the company, Gwen being Jack's daughter and destabilizing his family and even Gwen killing Laura...all advance Peter's agenda. Peter HATED Laura.

So he hired a guy to decorate her office with wallpaper lined with psychotropic drugs and a hidden microphone and tried to gaslight her into thinking she was going insane again. So no one would believe her accusations

Probably because she's still mad EJ didn't risk his career to defend her from the many sordid crimes of which she was very, very guilty. And I imagine that's the only reason Peter would side against the family. Shame he's been so wasted. So many opportunities from being Gwen's father to shaking up DiMera. Instead he's a memory.

I'm just tired of the DiMera circus. This constant revolving door of CEOs is absurd. How could any company maintain enough customer confidence to survive it? And Shin is honestly an idiot. He's like a kid playing businessman and making dumb decisions, like becoming so personally connected to Jake and Gabi. Shin Sr. was extremely loyal to Stefano, but he wasn't stupid.

Kristen mustve gotten to him. Also because he is smart and wanted to be on the winning team I suppose lol. Either way I am delighted he made the right decision. Anytime there is a mention of Peter Blake it puts a smile on my face. Now if only they would bring the original actor back or recast I would be over the moon!

I just figured based on Gabi’s history that she slept with Peter offscreen to get his vote. That was why she slept with Stefan and Jake, and tried to sleep with Chad.

Gabi was surprised by Peter voting for her, also about Stefan it was both about revenge and about gaining control of DiMera Enterprise, in the end she fall in love with him and the rest is history

She was trying to get Gabi Chic from Dimera (to end the contract/partnership or whatever it was) when she failed, she came up with the revenge plot with Brady, got all of Dimera through Stefan giving her PoA over all his assets after they married. She fell in love with him during her revenge plot and realised this after she already had control of DE.

Li Shin hasn't been anything more than the guy who appoints the new head of DE, their relationship has always been strictly professional with hints of flirtation but only after Stefan's death when he started appearing more often.
