When I read that Steve Burton was going to be on Beyond Salem I thought he might be playing peter. But yeah I would be interesting to see peter on the show again. And having Benji’s son on the show could mean some interesting interactions with Steve and Kayla

Wasnt Benji killed by Andre? And I think Stefano had his great grandfather killed. So even though Dimera is his birthright, maybe his loyalty isnt with the Dimeras, maybe having Gabi in charge is his way of saying I want nothing to do with any of it.

All of Stefano's children are illegitimate. Except the ones he adopted (Kristen and Peter). And he didn't so much adopt them as he killed their father, maimed their mother and then kidnapped the kids.

There isn't a single legitimate heir in the whole bunch.

Daphne was Stefano's common law wife...there was never a marriage. And even then Tony is really the son of Stefano and Daphne's gardener Enrico.

Days was thinking of recasting Peter few years ago. But they decided to bring back Tony from the dead instead. I too want to see Peter back. Maybe spice J&J up. Maybe Days changed their minds, perhaps, but not really sure.
