Because when Sami learns Lucas had her kidnap we the viewers are going to get to witness it. RC would not deprive us of getting to see Sami slap Lucas around. And Lucas trying to explain why he did it while she does. Should be very funny to watch. Those two crack me up. No I am not a fan of them as a couple but as BFF. They work very well together. The show wants the audience to believe something happened to Sami, but nothing has. She will return in a few weeks complaining about the leg.

I agree with the OP that this reveal will happen on screen, at a public event like a wedding that is interrupted by Ej revealing everything. In the end, Lucas goes to jail, Sami leaves and Ej sticks around Salem romancing another female.

Yeah, IMO Lucas wouldn’t take the chance coming back to Salem all by himself if he has stashed her away again and try to keep his mom from telling Roman if Sami already knows. What’s left to lose then? Just stay hidden with Sami.

He seems to be staying in Salem, and Sami ends up back in Salem real soon. It didn’t even play like he was keeping another secret. People want to believe imo that he did something because he was already lying about the kidnapping, but this was a way to get them both back on canvas and Ali wasn’t available yet.

Also it would be super easy for Roman to contact this hospital and find out. It’s not just phone reception that wouldn’t make sense if we’re going to go by all these theories. Sometimes things don’t make sense and people act OOC but RC will make sure there are a ton of other people around when Sami finds out, that’s how he always writes these reveals. Not in flashbacks. Lucas wouldn’t be around for months (Bryan’s recent words) if Sami comes back and tells. He’d be going to jail.

You act like if Lucas being a Horton gets him out of trouble. If anything he's the only Horton who's served some kind of jail time, and that was for a crime he didn't even commit. He also only embraced his Horton side decades after finding out he was a Horton. He hated the family and the father that represented him and pretty much never wanted to even be part of that mix. It was only after Alice approached Lucas about 5 years into him knowing who his father was that he finally was able to entertain the idea of at least having a relationship with that side.

I think she might explode initially but she will be devastated because unlike Ej, she trusted Lucas. It's going to be a blow realizing what he was able to do to her and the depths he took to conceal the truth.
