For the most part, a fantastic episode. So ghost Bo let Ben seem him. Ben received angelic approval from his father in law. I just don't understand why Ron C. felt it was important for Ben to see him when such important people in Bo's life who were actually on the show today Kayla, John and Roman didn't. And couldn't they have had Shawn there as well? Its such a disrespect to the fans. Happy to see Bo. It would be nice to get more Bo all the time. But that scene with Ben was just CRINGE.

It was a great scene in my opinion. I loved how he talked to both Ciara and Ben. As for Kayla not seeing him she was more concerned about doing her job at the moment he appeared to Steve. I took that as a buddy letting his buddy know that Tripp also has Bo as a guardian angel. Bo was not going to make the rounds and appear to everyone, only those that really needed him in that moment.Last edited by PatchSweetness; May 17, 2022, 11:24 PM.

I wouldn't have minded Ben being there if the show hadn't left Kayla out of the scene with Steve. They should have had both Steve and Kayla see Bo. Kayla was/is a mom to Tripp but they acted like Ava is the one who has been a mother to Tripp.

I wish Shawn could have been there to see his father. The only thing left for Ben now is for one of his victim’s ghosts to come to him and tell him it’s okay and all good because they know he’s changed.

Fancy863 That was hella funny.

Well, why not? ls the actress available? Bring her on. l loved Paige and hated her killing! Then we would have to accept Ben as redeemed, right?? Joking, l hope you know

PatchSweetness I agree with you, Bo appeared to those that needed him A part of me does wish Kayla looked up, because the bond between Kayla and Bo was so special. But I get it, her focus was on Tripp. I also wish Shawn was a part of the scenes with CIN and Bo. Maybe it was another availability issue with BB (Shawn) fingers crossed we see them interact on Beyond Salem
When Bo spoke to Ben about his redemption, it was very in character imo. Bo has forgiven others in his life, and believed in their redemption, why wouldn’t he believe in Ben’s? Especially since Ben has proven to be a different person, he is not the same man. Even today at the end Ben got emotional at what Tripp’s loss would have meant, and wanting everyone to be happy. This isn’t the same man who killed 3 women.

I wonder did he want Serena, Paige or Wendy’s family to be happy. I am not liking that Ben is made to ignore those women and their love ones but everyone else gets his sympathy and empathy. I like Ben and wanted him to so badly say I understand how they felt now that I have gone through this. But even when he had the chance, he literally said he should feel bad but he doesn’t.
That is the one thing that makes me hate how they are trying to redeem Ben. Having Bo say it is about redemption let’s me know that the writers feel
they haven’t done a good job of redeeming him. JMHO

Again this is a soap, and really those were minor characters, even Paige, soaps move one. I don’t think Ben ignored it, the writers have had Ben repeatedly acknowledged what he did, the pain the caused. He also said he can’t change the past it’s part of him, that the only thing he can do now is try and be a better person. They could have easily ignore the past with like other characters, or come up with a rewrite, but they chose redemption.I think having Bo say it, and reassure Ben is the final piece to the redemption, it’s the final chapter. Like Bo said it’s time to let it go.

I loved the scene myself. To me it was understated and the focus was on Ciara and baby Bo, Bo knew Ciara and BB would need him so he gave him some encouraging words to give him the confidence to be a good husband to his beloved daughter and grandson.
I do wish Kayla could have seen him.

Appeared to his daughter and grandson. Oh no, her husband dared be with her right after her ordeal.
Do I wish Shawn could have seen him? Yes. Is it the worst thing ever for Ben to have been there? No.

Abby_fan People are going hate Ben if they already do. It's not going to change. I doubt the writers expect anything from the non-Ben likers except.more of the same whining.

I don’t think he said get over being a serial killer. Bo was telling him, he earned his redemption, that it. Ben’s past is always going to be with him but, he can now move forward knowing he turned his life around. Bo was telling him he has changed, redemption is real and he can believe in that moving forward

Ben doesn’t even know Bo. That should have been a scene between Bo and Ciara with Shawn in the room. Ben should have gone to the snack machine or something. Noting about that scene was moving. The only reason Bo was there was to sing Ben’s praises, just like I said he would. .
I do wonder what Weston’s are in heaven looking down on them. And where were these Weston angels when Ben went in his killing innocent young women rampage.
When will making Ben the best of the best of the best of all the people of Salem end? Bo was just too much.
