Stephen and Tamara were amazing today. Just amazing. I have no words and how they brought Bo into the scene…I am so glad that I DVRed this and can rewatch it again and again. Emmy for both of them!!

TB is fantastic. She's still my Carly on GH but she was great today. SN also did amazing. -
They both showed real grief. I couldn't help comparing Ava today and when Charlie died. I don't remember much grief then.Comment

I can’t believe anyone will make excuses for this worthless excuse for a mother?! she’s a massive hypocrite, you think that if Tripp did the things Charlie did she would’ve disowned him? Never because he’s her one and only precious precious boy -
I would have been sickened if she showed much emotion after Charlie held her captive and continuously drugged her. Today it was awesome TB was great.

Nick Fallon fan: If you enjoyed her pain that is fine. We know you hate her but some of us did feel bad for her as well as others that love Tripp. None of this has anything to do with Charlie. -
HATE is a small word to describe how I feel about Ava, and it does has everything to do with Charlie to me, this woman is a psychopath who is only capable of loving one child, if she is capable of all this love and care then why didn’t she give some of it to Charlie? I hope she dies a horrible death soon -
Nickfallonfan How about this, Ava is a flawed human being. We're all guilty of that. Whether Ava couldn't or didn't love Charlie is by the by. Charlie was a grown up. We all have to take responsibility for what we do in our lives. He refused to take responsibility for his actions. As a rape victim myself, I deplore what he did. So Charlie was a big suck that "mommy didn't love me." Poor, poor, poor Charlie. Couldn't rise above it all and become a good person. He blamed Ava and Tripp for his own actions. Ava tried, under very complex circumstances.
Technically the conception and births of both Tripp and Charlie don't make sense time-wise. And I will always believe Charlie's father was Martino, Ava's father. That would be the only reason she couldn't love him. The idea Ava was foisted onto another guy after Steve is ludicrous. Steve was the love of her life. Also if we're to believe the timeline, Martino kept Ava drugged after Steve disappeared. She was still drugged when we saw her in 2008. The timeline does not make sense.
Soaps today by nature are a vast departure from what they were even twenty years ago. Devil possession, masks, people coming back from the dead in an almost comical fashion...it's all a bit silly. I watch with that in mind. I do or cannot commit to the obsessive hatred you have of a fictional character. I have better things on my mind than that. I am largely here to support the actors. The storylines are ridiculous. I mean a serial killer as a love interest?

She had a child she did not really want to have because her father insisted it happen. Ava really did the boy a big favor by not trying to pretend. I would have hated to see her act like she loved him if she didn't. That would have been truly cruel. Honestly, I was expecting much more of a dramatic reaction from Ava. I wanted her to never leave Tripp's side. Like they would have had to pull her off of Tripp & she would need to be sedated. TB is an amazing actress but I didn't really feel her grief for Tripp yesterday. I watched her on GH (Carly) and when her son on that soap was presumed dead, TB showcased a performance that rivaled Kristian Alfonso when Zach died. I encourage all to go watch those scenes of TB.Comment

For me I just can never feel sorry for this monster Ava, after what she did to Charlie she does not deserve to have Tripp in her life -
Nickfallonfan well if you had the same level of contempt for Martino as you apply to Ava, then you'd have your answer as to where it came from in Ava. If Ava is as you keep droning on about, then place that squarely on Martino Vitali, because if truth be told Charlie was going to end up just like dear old Gandpa. It didn't come out a vacuum with Ava. It starts someplace. As for the perpetually whiney Charlie, like Tripp who did turn his life around and face it, being sold on the black market like he was, is way worse yhan what Charlie went through. He knew his birth patents. Tripp didn't. My parents were both alcoholics. I choose not to drink because I don't want to be like them. But again I'll point out the uneven writing and rampant retconning of Ava's entire story to fit in two impossible scenarios like the births of both Tripp and Charlie. But hey.
