He risked his life for Allie but I still don't want them together. I've always believed Allie wanted Chanel. She's more attracted to her, she barely blinked an eye over cheating on Tripp and never fought to keep him.

I don't want Tripp back with Allie. I think he could be more interesting if given a good story. -
Everybody deserves better than Allie. She's crap as a girlfriend. She jerked Chanel around, then chose Tripp, and then got jealous when Chanel fell for Johnny and jumped into bed with her the moment her brother hurt her. And then she went right back to Tripp the next day as if nothing happened.Comment

I happen to love Sami. And this could not be further from the truth. Sami has always been definite with her choices in whom she loves. She was clear with Lucas that she was still in love with EJ and was just hurt when they slept together. And for most of her life, Sami was NEVER a cheater no matter what. -
Fancy863 yep. But for the first 20 years on the show, Sami was always a one man woman. In the rare instances she did cheat, she was clear about who she was in love with. Allie seems to be fickle... or a fickle as someone can be while also being emotionally passive.

I think they will end up back together. He sacrificed himself for her sake. She just said she never got a chance to tell him she loves him. I think Chanel may be torn though, so Johnny may be in for some disappointment.Comment

See, to me that would be backward from what I've seen from them. Chanel seemed 100% all in with Johnny and didn't even glance at Allie. Whereas, Allie didn't seem to let go of Chanel even while with Tripp. And when Tripp dumped her, Allie shrugged it off and just started dating Chanel. Chanel was broken up over Johnny for months. -
I think it would be funny for Johnny and Allie to tell Chanel she needs to choose...and she chooses Tripp.

I agree. Ten reasons I don't think they should be together.
1. She's dumb and flighty. He's educated.
2. She's a single mom. He's a doctor with high earning potential.
3. She's unemployed. He's a doctor.
4. She's bisexual. He's a bit old fashioned.
5. She's a rape victim so she has baggage. He has a career to worry about.
6. She cheated.
7. He's already banged her relatives (Claire and Ciara)
8. She has a baby with his brother.
9. Ava killed her great grandfather.
10. If Tripp and Allie get married he would have Sami and Lucas as in-laws.

All good points although she’s not unemployed as she still work in the bakery, and personally I have the biggest problem with Tripp possibly becoming Henry stepfather, that’s just disgust me, unfortunately like RickySpanish said Allie is smoking hot so I can’t see Tripp not giving her a chance because of that LOL

Tripp deserves better than the wish washy, flaky Allie, but I still want Tripp and Allie together, but only if she realizes it's Tripp she truly loves with ALL her heart and that her feelings for Chanel are truly behind her.Comment

I think that Chanel/Allie story was a trial balloon to see how the fans liked it. My opinion is that it deflated pretty quickly. Johnny and Chanel are going to be pretty popular I think. So Tripp, and Allie are going to be together for the long term.Originally posted by Theresa_Fan View PostComment

I think tptb will forget the whole bisexual angle and go back to focus on the heterosexual relationships both Allie and Chanel were in. In fact I don’t think they were ever end game, just a gimmick to get attention. Also thesacrifice Tripp made for Allie feels hollow . Just a few weeks ago Allie was over the moon at being in a relationship with Chanel. She barely thought of Tripp, Chanel showed him more concern. On Friday Tripp was bad mouthing Allie, but suddenly they love each other still? Seems like a plot point to end the devil story, Not the restart of some epic love.Comment

Even if Janel is the couple to root for, why should Allie being bisexual be dropped? -
JackandJenfan I get the sense it was a plot point that they aren’t all that interested in carrying on with.
