Ciara did the impossible, she actually had a baby without Ben being there to hold her hand. She sounded crazed, carrying on about Ben.

Shocking she’s giving birth for the first time wants her husband, the father of her child with her.

But the way she repeated herself and wouldn't stop was annoying. She knew Ben wasn't going to
be there, and she was going to have the baby without him so why just keep saying the same thing,
over and over?

dee2 it still seemed natural to me. She was in labour, in pain, scared, with no medical help. She was alone in the cabin with who she thought was Allie. She expected the birth to go a certain way. Of course at that moment she’d wish Ben was there. I have a lot of issues with dialog on this show, including past dialog with Ciara. But her saying Ben name, wishing he was there,while in labour it didn’t seem over the top.

I am not understanding the problem in Ciara caring about her husband. She loves wants and cares about her baby. She has shown in many ways to love her baby. Like I said she thought Ben was dead and she is very pregnant and Allie wanting to isolate Ciara away from cops and a hospital was not good for baby either.she did the best she could in a terrible situation and unfortunately the characters had to be written in a way to serve the dumb devil plot. I cant judge or criticize Ciara for that esp when their are far worse mothers who put men first.

Devil Allie tried to make Ciara prioritize the baby, and even got a fake Rafe on the phone for the same reason, but Ciara just couldn't care less. All she cares about is Ben.

Even in a manipulation that is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to make her put her baby first and make sure he's safe, Ciara can only ask about Ben, only think about Ben.

I liked this pairing so much and it makes me sad that it's destroyed her character. She used to be so vibrant and exciting. Now she only exists in relation to him.

The devil wanted to take baby. He needed to isolate Ciara to do that. That why he used Rafe’s voice. It wasn’t about making Ciara put the baby first.And because Ciara was upset thinking her husband was dead, and wanting answers, or wanting to be with him,that means she doesn’t care about her son?
That’s ridiculous imo. If she had reacted like she didn’t care about Ben, she would have been criticized for that. The fact is Ciara knew something was off, about Ben’s “death” it didn’t make sense. That’s why she was talking about him, and wanting to go back. And her instincts were right again.
And Imo they haven’t destroyed Ciara at all. She is one of the strongest, most resilient characters on this show. She’s a kick ass character, no matter what happens she keeps fighting, for herself, and for the ones she loves. Should she be like most of the characters on the show lie and cheat on the person they claim to love. Would that make her a better character?

She’s a wife, sister, daughter,granddaughter, niece and cousin. And now she’s a mom. She has a job at Titan. I know people say that she’s never seen at Titan. That’s because there is no story about Titan that needs an office, so they aren’t going to waste money with sets just to show Ciara at work. And others might say she doesn’t interact with a lot of people. On Days all characters are isolated to a small group. They rarely branch out to others.
For example when was the last time Nicole shared a scene with someone other than Eric, rafe or Ava, or had a scene that wasn’t about them?
when was the last time Chloe had a scene with someone other than her parents Leo or Brady, or a scene that wasn’t about them? When was the last time her son was even mentioned? Or Gabi, her scenes partners are usually rafe, Ava and Jake. And those scenes are always about DE or Jake. I don’t think we have seen a scene with Ari in years. Even when they had an actress playing Ari they never shared scenes, not since 2019 at least. Sometimes I feel like some viewers criticize Ciara, without realizing the way she’s written isn’t exclusive to her.

Being with Ben has put Ciara's life in jeopardy more times than any other thing in her life. If she takes that into account, she should be putting some distance between her and Ben. Of course, she should have done that once she was rescued from the glass cage.

Her inability to walk away from a toxic, life-threatening situation is why some think she is weak. I think she is just being stupid.

Their is nothing toxic about Cin love. Ben loves and adores Ciara. When you see and hear how some of the men treat talk to and cheat on their significant others Cin have none of that. They have a trusting, faithful relationship they are deeply in love.

Ciara has no reason to leave Ben. He has totally changed and they cant use his past forever when their are characters who do far worse. Ciara and Bo are in no danger with Bo. He would protect them always

The fact that Ciara married a man who abused and tried to kill her relative, murdered several people (including another relative, even though he was found to be still alive) could be viewed as toxic. Yes, he has not hurt her (yet) but I am sure that Abby, at one time, thought Ben would never hurt her either. He turned the cabin where he abused Abby & Chad and killed Wendy into a romantic little love shack. That is romantic for them and that is toxic.

Trusting in and believing in someone does not mean a relationship can't be toxic. Never cheating doesn't mean a relationship can't be toxic. Sami and EJ work as a team when they are together, so do Sami and Lucas (even when they are not together).

They are the most toxic couple this show has ever produced. They never worked as a team. He raped her, she shot him.He tried to take the kids away. She hide from him while pregnant because she was afraid of him. He actually made her believe her daughter was dead. And while together he cheated, she wanted revenge took the company, she cheated he showed her he is still a misogynistic pig by the names he called her to anyone who would listen. They do not work, they are toxic always. Being faithful is only one reason CIN aren’t toxic In 4 years Ben and Ciara have built a relationship on love, and trust. Excluding the time Ciara had amnesia, they built a relationship void of fear, revenge. To say Ben could hurt her is a lame argument. It hasn’t happen. But the list of times EJ and Sami have physically, and emotionally hurt each other, is proof they are the most toxic pair on this show. Some of you need to stop with the hypocrisy.

He is NOT a different man. He was capable of that level of violence then and will always be. Once a serial killer, always a serial killer. To think that he could never do such a thing again is naive. It is why it is such a dangerous notion to push for the sake of drama. And to romanticize him and pretend that some medication and the love of a doting woman (does it help that she is much younger than him, hmmm) "fixes" him or makes him a "different person" just doubles down on the danger (and the grossness) of the false propoganda (or should I say "perpoganda").

They might go away, but Ben wouldn’t return alone. They might leave the show like Bope did in 1987. But RSW comes back alone he will be playing a new character. They have pretty much established CIN as their supercouple of this decade. And that they are it for each other. They only way one character moves on without the other is if there is a death.

Of all the couples on the show, whether people like Ben or Ciara or not, the only other healthy couple is Lani and Eli. Every other couple is cheating on each other, abusing each other, abandoning each other. I get that Ben is a serial killer but their love is typical soap opera. Marlena would act the same way if she were pregnant, she would be screaming about John. Jennifer would do the same with Jack. I don't like Chabby but they are a supercouple. Ben and Ciara are a classic soap opera, no different than any other whether Ben is a serial killer or not. This is how soap operas have always been.


Ben isn't the first or the last person on a soap opera to hurt people in cold blood and get redemption or at least be allowed to be happy. Stefano has orchestrated people's kidnapping and death. Kate is a cold-hearted person who has tried to kill people. Ben gets a bad rap because his victims are dead.

On canvas, right now there is a thin line between good and bad. The only innocent people are babies.

Yeah, I understand the serial killer thing folks, but the show alone is somehow moving to how great CIN really is. I don't see CIN apart unless they cheat. To be honest...thats pretty natural to feel and talk about. Ben was in trouble and she felt something there (connection). I would criticize the devil more cuz the devil is screwing some people's lives.
