??? Eli was shot!!!???

I am so sad about it. I rarely cry during a show but this was too much. I was literally crying. Poor Eli, couldn’t handle Coates.

It seemed to me that the gun was positioned at mid level when it discharged, but the wound was in Eli's head? How did I get that wrong?

Maybe someone has an explanation, or maybe the scene was just carried out incorrectly.

You didn’t get it wrong, I had to rewind after I saw blood on his head because I thought maybe TR had pistol whipped him but no, the writers and directors got it wrong

Yeah, I don't understand either how Eli ended up being shot in the head when their struggle was down low in between them? Unless Eli is being written out I suspect he'll eventually recover, but my guess is when he wakes up, he won't be able to remember what went down with TR that led to him being shot.

I do remember 5 or 6 months ago (when this was recorded), I read that Lamon Archey was going off-contract and would be recurring. I guess we know why now.

TV Man yes, you are correct! I reported on this months ago! The actor would be recurring for now unless they update him again to full time status. I think Days is balancing the actors and actresses out every 6 months or more. They did this to Linsey. They did this to Kristian but she quit regarding this. They did this to Bryan too. Anyway, nothing to worry for now

The scenes were rushed to me cause Eli could have waited to confront TR. You had Eli interviewing Beth and then he leaves her in the interrogation room, just to end up in a scuffle with TR. Then Lani is interviewing Beth and gets interrupted. Beth is just waiting around for them. I would have been left.

Did I misunderstand what Lani and Abe said about Eli’s surgeon? I would swear that Abe said that Eli was in good hands with Kayla, but then she took time off to go to take Sarah to the mental ward. If so, give her doctor of the year because she can really multitask!

Kayla said the doctor that was operating on Eli was one of the best. Kayla wasn’t the doctor.
