  • Anna's Don Craig reference

It was hilarious how Anna said that Don Craig mailed a letter and was never seen again.

I love it! I love that they are giving Anna all these good lines!

That was the most funniest thing i heard in a awhile. Its like the writers read the fans message boards. Thank you Ron.

My guess is that Days scribe, Jamey Giddens wrote that line. He's probably the one resurrecting the Renee Dumonde material as well. He knows his Days history.

That was a great line for us longtime viewers..I think the line was probably written by Days scribe, Jamey Giddens who knows the Days history backwards and forwards

Its totally a Jamie G line referencing Don Craig. I have watched Days since 1984. I think they should have said he passed. Jed Allen is passed now. Let the character die with him.

That line was great - I couldn't believe Anna was actually saying what we have all been saying for so long!

I think it would be nice if his daughter Donna visited Marlena and let her former step mother know Don has died.

I wonder why his exit was handled so badly? I know JA went on to star in the soap Santa Barbara, did that piss of tptb at the time. They could have easily had a cheeky line where someone explains that Don had moved away, maybe even said he moved to Santa Barbara lol

Jed Allan said in his book that he kept reminding tptb that he was departing soon but they didn't bother to write him an exit.

Really, that’s interesting I guess tptb at days have a long history of making stupid decisions

They could have used a "Neil Curtis" line as well. His last scene was going off to check on his patients at University Hospital. He was a major character and apparently vanished on his rounds.

                That was an amazing line.
Man if the actor was alive, I wish he could have made an appearance.

That was truly the best line of the entire week! I was glad someone finally mentioned that on the show.

Don and Neil were probably kidnapped by Andre decades ago and no one noticed.

The references to Dpn and Neil are interesrong for two reasons, JA who played Don Craig passed away in real life several years ago. JG(Joe Gallison) is still with us. It wouldn't make sense to brong back Don(who would he connect up to, what would be his story?).... but Neil is still relevant, he's Sarah's father, and Im sure(if returned) could have plenty of story potential with Maggie. Even if JG is unavailable, I'd be fine with a recast.

No one cared enough to look into what happened to him. Some selfish people in Salem.
