In all the storylines for Abby, which ones would you consider her shining in or shall I say, which stories made her a worthy actress and leading lady? I would say when Kate was in the role, her defining story was when she and Chad (BF) finally gave in to their feelings which led to the neck tie story. With MM I think it was the DIDS story. Even though i don’t like Abby to constantly be doing stories about her mental illness and I would never want it to define her but I think this story definitely showed Marci’s acting chops and put the character of Abby front and center. It was definitely one of her darker moments and not one i would want repeated but it was very well done.

Her mental illness (Marci as Abby), probably defined that moment because of the acting and what Abby was afraid of. I did like the young Abby when Ashley was playing her. I also think Abby got more famous because of EJ when Kate was playing her. To me, because of this, it led to CHABBY 2.0. Otherwise, there would not been anything special there. Ben also somehow worked out to get to CHABBY 2.0.
I guess Abby's career as a investigator may define her moment as well. -
I think Abby being an investigative reporter is going to be the best story she has had! I'm excited to see what she does on the island. I really hope that mental illness and infidelity is in her past. I want to see her as a strong career woman!Comment

I think her affair with EJ got her lots of recognition, moving her to the forefront. But I think her storyline with Ben was the one that propelled her to leading lady status, even though she left the canvas, Had Kate Mansi stayed, she would have been a leading lady of Days.
Marci did a wonderful job with the DID story. It got her a Daytime Emmy nomination as leading lady.
The Abby character has been a leading lady for a while now. ❤️Comment

Marci, as an investigative reporter, is one of my favorite storylines. I wish they would let her and Lani work together. I thought she and Xander were going to be working together but that went no where fast. Xabby were great together while trying to figure out where Sarah could be.Comment

When I think of defining Abby moments, certain scenes stick in my mind:
1) Abby in the shower with EJ. Lusty Abby really came out to play for the first time.
2) Abby tied up in the cabin in labor at gunpoint, trying to talk calmly to Ben while freaking out inside.
3) Abby jumping on the bed spraying lighter fluid on Ben, then telling Chad "He needs to DIE." That was the moment you kind of knew she'd changed forever.
4) Abby first turning around to face Stefan with the Gabby wig on. That started a very wild ride.

Each Abby (teen and up versions) had different things that defined them but until I looked at some of these comments and really thought back, I realized the Abbies have had a LOT of moments....too many to even post!! But I remember loving the tween version because her scenes with her family were so sweet and memorable (especially Jack), the next Abby (KM) is well remembered for her hot, hot, hot scenes with EJ (I did not like them but it was all the buzz at the time). Also, when BF took over as Chad, the chemistry between him and KM was the hottest around making the Ben/Abby/Chad triangle one of the most memorable stories ever on Days (and spawned the necktie killer story). Then when we feared all was lost, along came MM as Abby who also had great chemistry with BF as Chad, as well as her DID story and then my most memorable scenes where Chad gives one of the best speeches ever..his "you consume me" speech, and Abby saves Chad from getting hit by a car, gets hit herself and then we had some wonderful hospital scenes where Chad declares it has always been Abby he loves!! Also the cabin, the fire, her belief right from the beginning that Chad was not the necktie killer, the DiMera garden scene, the birth of Charlotte! Whew!!! I guess I could go on and on....but again, I do love all of the above Abbies!! One of the best characters ever on Days of our Lives for so many reasons!!Comment

Ejabby was really her most interesting story imo. She really was fierce and non-apologetic,.. and her advances was returned. I just hate how it ended with EJ and Abby, had such hopes it would be a new potential couple.
Dating the murder Ben, wasn’t my favourite but it was a big story. Same goes for (I guess) her mental illness story with split personality and affair with Stefan ..Last edited by Hologram; February 15, 2022, 03:14 PM.Comment

I don't believe EJ was really interested in Abby when following the story. He wanted her not to tell the police of Nick Fallon. He was there trying to protect Sami. Abby was mad when he stopped his advances on her. He did not wanted to break his family over her. -
Abby did not have no affair with Stefan. She had DID she had no idea what was going on and she was raped by Stefan no affair with Stefan.

EJ was not interested in pursuing Abby. That’s obvious. But he was attracted to her and he admired her. I remember he always spoke highly of her on several occasions to Chad when he was played By Casey. I even remember EJ making Chad look like a fool in front of her which he continues to do to this day. He always commented how attractive she was. I remember that. And i remember prior to their hook up when they talked about her Dad’s book, EJ respected Abby as he saw her as an intelligent, thoughtful woman. So no i don’t think he would have pursued her, nor was he in love with her by any means. The most defining moment for me was when she was responsible for Gabi going to prison for a crime she didn’t commit and all hell that Gabi went through after that, while Abby had 2 weeks sessions with Marlena,and then everything was fine with her.Comment

Yeah that’s all Abs needed. Gabi’s life however, was forever changed by it. But hey, poor Abs made it through and that’s all that matters, right? -
Exactly ejamiforever All Abby needed were 2 weeks luxury spa vacation with her mental granny for murdering Andre in her right mind! While Gabriela spent months, I, repeat months in prison and the prison infirmary for a murder Abby committed in her right mind! However, since it was Gabriela and not Abby, it's A-OK!
