Is really bugging me. I mean how are they going to write this to make any sense. She was a grown woman when she found out he was her father what is going to be the excuse. If she was a child when they told her the lie I could understand it but why tell a grown woman a man is her father when he is not. I know that story was written without this storyline in mine but how do you change something like that and make it make any sense. Rant over.....

If I was the writer here is what I would do. I would have Lani send off one of those DNA kits because she is interested in her heritage. Then when she got the results back with the list of relatives she would see Ray ( or whatever his name is ) listed as her father. -
It is easy to change. Abe didn’t even know Lani existed before she came to Salem. They lied about her mother. I am sure lying about a father they thought she would never see was easy.
It sucks but if they can take Bo from Shawn and give him to Victor and all is well, they can take Lani from Abe and all will be well.
I am looking forward to all of the emotional ??? scenes that are coming with this story.
I love Abe and Lani’s father daughter relationship.

So I don't remember but Lani was surpose to have known sence she was little Abe was her father. And when as a grown woman she went to find him there was nothing her mom could do. Ok BUT she should have put more thought into that. I would have wondered if someday she might want to see her father. So tell her he had died. And when Lani was grown she could have said well the truth is honey I made a mistake. Your father was a one night stand and I never knew his name. Case closed. Sounds sorted but at least she would have not have looked for him.Comment
