Sami storyline is really sad!

If this storyline is showing anything it shows Sami should get a divorce. Sami is a character ripe for an abusive husband.

1. She has no idea what romantic love is.
2. She really doesn’t love or even like herself.
3. She has an obsessive compulsive nature that pushes her to cling to men.

Her flagrant cheating on EJ is a cry for help. she does not want to be with EJ. Her actions speak louder than her words. But Sami doesn’t know how to end a toxic relationship. She has never ended one. Think about it. Sami has never ended a relationship ever. She only knows how to cling to them.

So Sami is reaching out for happiness and love. She is reaching out for Lucas because they are like family and home for her. They are unconditional love.

But Sami needs to learn to love herself. She needs to stop clinging to another miserable relationship and build herself up.

I know Lucas and Sami are being played for laughs but under those layer, she is so sad of a character.

Sami is sad because she is not getting the love and attention from EJ, which she always received. She is sad because she cheated on him with Lucas. Lucas filled a void she was lacking with EJ. I think EJ is having a problem in the bedroom because of his serious injuries. He is ignoring Sami, to protect his pride, which is typical for most men. Sami is not aware of his problem and thinks he no longer loves her. She find comfort in Lucas, but she is not in love with Lucas. She loves him as a good friend and person. A major difference!

When EJ told Sami, he loved her on the phone, it brought her to tears. She responded, I love you to EJ, so much. Obviously, she was happy to hear those words from EJ, the man she is in love with, and always will be. EJAMI was never a traditional love story, but EJ & Sami are not traditional people, which is why they are perfect for each other.

EJ is on his way back to Salem soon. Obviously, he will discover Sami's secret and their marriage will be in turmoil. But I have no doubt they will find their way back together in due time as always.

If Lucas and Sami had unconditional love why hasn’t Sami ever seemed a relationship with Lucas after Ej was presumed dead ! Why did Sami mourn Ej for years why did Sami search the world for Ej why was Sami willing to shot John just to find Ej why did Sami run in a burning building and walk through blazing fire to save her husband Ej why did Sami spend years helping to nurse Ej back to heath ! Sam never did anything like that for Lucas Sami was all about her husband Ej and even now Sami is still defending her Ej her husband ! Sami is crying because she’s not being intimate with her husband Ej she desires her husband Ej and he’s emotional detached because of the trama of his injuries ! It was Ej who Sami called to save her life and the life of Lucas ! Sami told her husband Ej that she loved and misses him to ! Sami doesn’t want a relationship with Lucas. She wants Ej and yes Sami sleeping with Lucas 2 times was wrong but I’m sure after Ej told her he loved and missed her I really think that was the end of Sami having awkward sex with Lucas !

I think they are attempting to make Lumi into some comedy-romantic story but it's boring now. Time to bring EJ home for Sami! The man who has loved her more than any other man and the man she chose over all other men.

Well stated, OP. I am a Sami Brady fan through and through and as much as I love Lumi, I agree. Sami learning to love herself would be epic. I mean no offense to EJami fans, but I am sorry. EJ raped Sami to plant his seed. He then proceeded to harrass and stalk her for months when she was with Lucas. He even attempted to murder Lucas. EJ also put a fake Rafe in her bed and allowed her to believe her child was dead. That does not equate to EJ loving her more than any other man, or accepting her for who she is. It's quite the opposite actually.

Sami has needed extensive psychological help since she was a teen. She is very self destructive.

I do think Days are taking EJ in a different direction because Ron does not know the full story of EJAMI. From what I assumed from Ron's tweet, it really sounds that EJ would be mad at what Sami did.

She is definitely drained, burnt out & sadly doesn’t seem to have a lot of support. That being said, like Nicole she should have communicated her issues instead of cheating. I love Ejami but he’s right to be upset & hurt etc. He also owes Sami forgiveness, as she forgave him. Hopefully Ejami fans will get what we’ve all been waiting for.

RC is perfectly aware of the EJAMI story. Of course EJ will be angry with Sami. She cheated on him! No husband, especially one like EJ, would just ignore that and move on. EJAMI's marriage will be in complete turmoil upon EJ's return. That turmoil and drama won't end soon either. But I have no doubt, in due time, they will find their way back together as always. EJAMI's relationship is normally full of drama. That will never change. EJAMI are not a traditional duo or love story. Sami & EJ are not your normal traditional people, which is why they are perfect for each other.

I am really not concerned one way or the other about EJ. I am thinking about Sami’s frame of mine. And for Sami to have an affair, she really has to be miserable. This isn’t a mistake. She is not a child. She is a grown woman who is once again consumed with keeping together a relationship that is not serving her best interest. One she is actively doing her best to tear a part while pretending she is in it 100%.

A relationship should not make a character and Sami really should figure out who she is outside of men. She would be a much better character if they built her up some. Even Erica Kane and Reva Shane got to show growth and maturity.

For the first time since she appeared as a 16 year old girl, I'm enjoying Sami. She seems to finally be maturing. She apologized to Lucas for something and that's a first for her. She is filled with self doubt because she realizes the seriousness of what she's done to her marriage and for whatever reason she loves EJ. She and Lucas have always had great chemistry, in good times or bad, they shine when they are together.
