So Justin and Bonnie

I don't understand why Adrienne has to be dead if the actress is still on the show as Bonnie. I thought she was going to come and go which is why we have Bonnie around instead of Adrienne. But it is looking like she is there to stay. Disappointed that it's not Adrienne that's still around.

I question that, too. I thought when the actress was let go, that that was it. If Bonnie can be on the show, why not Adrienne?

I think the character of Bonnie is probably easier to write for. Judi can hit twice as many notes with Bonnie versus Adrienne.

I have to admit this is confusing to me too. It feels like kind of a slap in the face to Justin/Adrienne fans, of which there are many -- they weren't my jam but they were one of the main super couples people tuned in for in the 80s (along with Jarlena, Bope, Stayla, J&J, and Kim&Shane). If the actors are both available, why not write for the characters people love them as? It would be like killing off Marlena and having Hattie come back to win John's heart.

I read many weeks and weeks ago Bonnie is really Adrienne! She has memory loss that will lead Adrienne back to her real live with Justin! This was a Big Story that will happen!

It already hurts my head to think about how much the story of the night of Adrienne's death has been tweaked to fit Orpheus and his son in the whole scenario, but I can probably deal with it if I find out Bonnie and Adrienne switched at some point before that!

I read in another thread, that people are speculating that it was really Bonnie who died and Adrienne has been brainwashed to think she is Bonnie or has amnesia and thinks she is Bonnie.

That would be so annoying... they've already rewritten the night of Adrienne's death 3 times already.

I know Justin and Adrienne were a big deal back in the day, but I don't miss her at all

I like Bonnie much better---I never saw Justin and Adrienne when they were in super-couple mode and have thus always found Adrienne to be boring. Now that they`ve softened Bonnie`s rough edges I really like her a lot! And I like her with Justin she lights a fire under his character!

I sometimes find Bonnie entertaining. This time, at least so far. However, I'd rather have Justin and Adrienne. I don't know why all the fuss started anyway.
I think JE enjoyed playing both parts, Bonnie only once in awhile. The decision making BTS at soaps defy explanation, much of the time.

Justin and Bonnie just aren't interesting. She's playing a crude acting woman and he's so up tight he would never be with her.

Not saying I don't like Bonnie I do. But when it comes to Justin it should be Adrienne with him. I mean for me the only reason Justin is with her is he sees Adrienne when he looks at her. If I were Bonnie for that reason I would stay away from him. Not chase him. I guess the writers think they are putting a new spin on the couple but for me it fails. Like someone said it's like Hattie chasing John. No thanks.
