CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

So I know longer have a NBC channel

It was removed from my Dish network. So now I have to watch Days On demand. But how do I do that if On demand has no search option. How do you guys find it On demand to watch it.

I have NBC on my Dish TV.....I guess I have to check. Maybe it’s in different locations that the network gets snatched out from Dish TV.

I didn’t know NBC and other TEGNA stations were also taken off the Dish network. It thought it was only AT&T and DirecTV

I have Dish, and NBC has been off for months. I went to Best Buy and purchased an antenna for under $50. It is really good. I would get rid of cable if I did not have a husband and children.

I'm watching Days right now On Demand w/Xfinity. Hopefully, these instructions are the same on DISH. Click on ON Demand, go to TV shows, click on "Shows D-F HD," and scroll down until you find Days of Our Lives. Once you find the episode you want to watch, click "Ok" and the episode should play. If this does not work, you can watch online at NBC.com.

This is exactly why I quit satellite and went to cable! In the past week, my CBS channel has run a crawl saying that they will no longer air on DirecTV and my NBC channel has run a crawl saying they will no longer air on Dish. Of course, someone will eventually cave and pay the higher price, and then sign another contract for 2 or 3 years, and then the same thing will happen again when those contracts run out. It’s super annoying, and it’s not fair especially to rural customers, where cable may not be an option.

A lot of places don't get good antennae reception either for local channels.

I don't believe you can watch NBC On Demand if your provider has removed NBC from their network.

Thanks for your info guys. My CBS channel has been gone sence July. I pay like $7 for local. I am thinking of calling Dish and dropping my local channel. Why pay for something I don't have.

You may be right Ism. I watched a few eps awhile back when something or other took Days off for a day. You would think it would be under things I had watched before. NBC app here I come.

I am in Louisiana. NBC has been off twice in my area, and ABC once. Since my antenna is working, I dropped the local channel packet.

Yes, I have watched Days a few times on Peacock. It is available on the same day, not sure what time.

It is part of the free programs

mxs Well I looked at mines on Dish TV, and it’s a local channel....its still there! I am guessing where you live and local NBC, may be the ones that is beefing right now. Just hang in there in a couple of weeks and it will be back.

The blackouts are between the cable/satellite companies and specific station group owners. The blackouts have nothing to do with the networks themselves.
