CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    ADVISORY on CONDUCT

    The fan wars on this forum are ongoing and out of control. Please note that SOC's owner recently wiped the B&B forum completely clean, and that he always has the additional option to lock a forum completely, for however long he feels it may be necessary.

    SOC's guidelines require that posting be respectful at all times, even when you are in disagreement with another member of the site.

    This site was created to be a place for the friendly exchange of opinions on our favorite soaps. It was not created to be a battleground for flame-throwing trolls. Posters who continue to violate this site's guidelines should expect to have their posting privileges either restricted or entirely revoked. And if the mindset of poor conduct on this forum does not broadly improve, as in immediately, then the moderators still have the option to recommend a purge and temporary DOOL lock-down to SOC's owner.

    Thank you for this, I truly think the fanwars on this page are the worst of all the shows. Right now Days is the only show that is getting new shows and all I read little more then fights and some kind of aggressive bragging. Friendly reminder, you don't have to post in every thread especially if you can't behave

      Further to this, I would like to add that it is not “respectful” to other posters that have opposing views, to create on going forms of endearments for like minded posters, that (intentionally or unintentionally) creates a “clique” that excludes others. We want ALL our posters to feel EQUALLY welcome to post, regardless of which characters they like or don’t like.
